900 Global All Day review by Andrew Jensen
« on: July 30, 2014, 10:27:42 AM »
Wow are the new releases from 900 Global phenomenal!

I drilled my All Day, pin down and kicked the CG out to the right( I'm right handed). I put a weight hole straight across 5 inches with a 13/16's size bit. With the cover core combo in this ball i wanted to drill it for an earlier roll to help cut through the oil. The shape I saw with this ball is an early roll from start to finish and nothing like any other ball that you have seen from 900 Global! When I threw mine here in Omaha  NE, Council Bluffs Iowa and the Rockford Illinois areas it rolled early and made a great move down lane at the breakpoint.

I believe this is a ball that should be in your bag and a great one-two punch with the All Night.

Wow does this ball hook!! This ball lives up to its name and gives your competition more than they bargained for, when you are striking All Day!

Not to worry if you purchase both balls, you will leave the competitor behind All Day and All Night!

Any way we can get a more analytical review than just a promo?

How does it compare to the Boost solid and All Night?

The All Day will be smoother and hook more overall than the All Night because of the solid-sanded vs. pearl-polished coverstocks.  The Boost series will have more length and less flare than the All Night.

Please check on this video...  I have comparisons between the new line up of 900Global balls.

All Day v All Night
Dream v Boost

My opinion...

All Day replaces the Grip-It. The Maniac core is a great rolling core, and will be a great 1-2 punch with the All Night for league conditions. (Real excited for the All Night, ball looks BOSS.)

Boost line is S43 with the Wisdom 1st gen core. Mmmmm. Hooks are awesome, but could be too much off the spot at times. This looks to be a perfect lower level ball.

Dream is going to be a complement to the Network, IMO. Jumpier off the spot, and better going around the corner. Maybe a replacement for the Eagle Pearl motion?

Actually, in testing we've found the Dream to be a little more angular and more responsive off the friction that the Eagle Pearl or Break Pearl was.

Kind of reminds me of a break point pearl reaction. Is the cover to credit for it being stronger than the eagle/break pearl?

The All Day will be smoother and hook more overall than the All Night because of the solid-sanded vs. pearl-polished coverstocks.  The Boost series will have more length and less flare than the All Night.

I understand this, but I'm mainly asking to see how much separation there is between the balls.

For Day vs Night, do they have the same hook potential but cover boards differently or is there like a 5 board difference between the two?

For Day vs Boost Solid, how much weaker is the Boost in comparison?

I understand the specs and what the balls are supposed to do, but I'm looking for info on the real world performance

My only question is cover thickness.  That's the only issue I have with them.   Can someone post pics of the thickness?

The All night will pick up more in the mids and still save some energy for the back end on medium to medium heavy conditions and the Boost will be more of house shot short patterns as ball will clear heads very easy and not be too over reactive on the backend more of a controllable ball reaction and will be easier to adjust for the THS but the All Day will be more for sport shots if leave factory or drop down to 2000 or 1000 because of the earlier roll but I have been throwing these 2 Balls for about 3 weeks and have been able to use the All Day on some House shots early but as transition hits the moves are very big because will need need to find the oil to help push the ball down lane to get to the spot but overall these balls are a must have in the bag to use on various patterns and from the stroker to the high rev player

The All Day I drill the pin in ring finger 30 x 4 x 60
the Boost I decided to try my first Rico drill and rolls very smooth and controllable
If it is worth doing then do it right.
