900 Global Black Ops first impression
« on: May 21, 2015, 10:34:05 AM »
Hey everyone, I wanted to give you all a small review of the Black Ops. I threw it for the first time last night in league. Shot 732 with it. I drilled this one with a pretty strong layout. Pin above ring, mass 2 inches right, hole 4 inches right on my centerline. My intent was to be able to possibly either keep it shiny or possibly knock the shine off a pinch but still be able to use it on slicker patterns that had some games thrown on them. I kept it OOB. The ball for me is pretty strong. I was more than an arrow left of my all night and breakdown. I find what I really like is it gives us a motion that we don't have. Even though the cover is solid, it is pretty angular for me. It fits nicely between the Respect and all night. The difference is it gives us a strong asymmetrical core option at the mid price point. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be doing a full review once I get enough games in.

I can't wait. The Break weight block never gets old.

I've never been disappointed in a ball with this weight block.

Call me crazy, but this seems to be the original Break and the Black Eagle with new name. S70 Black with Break core.  Break Out and Purple were same combination with different colors. My Break Out was high on my list of all time balls I have owned, top 3 if not higher. I am out of the game for the next year, but may have to go ahead and pick one up for next year. I can't miss out on owning one of these.

Only difference I would see if OOB surface. That can be easily changed.

The Break core has always been there #1 core with out a doubt. The numbers don't lie, Every ball that has had that core has always been a big hit since day 1  and there S-70 cover is also there #1 selling cover...  why change something if its not broke, IM glad they havent  ;) IM sure many others are glad as well they havent, IM glad this  cover core combo is still being used today...  Can't wait to see what they use it for on the next ball and what there gunna call it as well :)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

I am glad to see it back no matter what the name. May be out of bowling for the next year, but I think I need one of these in the box ready to go.
