The house i bowl in is hpnl and there in noo oil at least on my side unless you get deep.

I have had good luck in past there with my 900 global longshot pin under bridge cg kicked just left of center. So i decided to drill my boost in this manner hopefully to get more length to due to weaker cover and good backend with hogher diff numbers. Instead i get a ball that hooks 5 foot sooner than longshot and merely curves on backend due to where i have to play to get it to pocket and it looses all its energy by time it gets to pocket and hits like wet noodle.  Not really sure where to go next i am lost in this house there is alot more oil on right than there is on left side all right handers usimg high end balls in track area i pull out a high end ball hit track area on my side i take out 10 pin. I am so frustrated.  Any thoughts?

I have the Hook Hybrid; for all intents and purposes the same ball as the Boost. I drilled mine exactly as you did and i got the same ball reaction.

I suspect the cover is not as weak as advertised and it is stronger than the core. I think you'd have to drill this ball with the pin up, in other words, a much smaller VAL angle to get the results we both would like to see.

+1, Hooks with the Code core were pretty strong midlane from the 3 that I owned (Pearl, Polished Solid, Hybrid). I never experienced any hits that were like a wet noodle on the Hooks. With the new Boost, the core from the Wisdom is smoother and creates less midlane read. They are close specs wise, but after having around 10 games on a new Boost Hybrid, I am seeing generally more length and a smoother, predictable backend motion. Pin carry has been anything but weak with the Boost. I think so far the Boost is a great ball for transition. Just my .02 cents.
