Hi All,

I'm proud to present to you The 900 Global BREAK Pearl Video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9ZDrYYDPS0

I recently invested in a second camera which allow me to do some pretty cool dual angle shots...let me know what you guys think...feedback has been positive so far!

My Take on the ball:

Lots of hook, lots of angle, lots of power at the pins.

This ball retains a ton of energy for its downlane move...dont be afraid to touch the surface of this ball...i found that at 4000 it is actually a bit stronger than my Break Solid, and as you can see @ 2000 its a few boards stronger than my Break Solid with the same layout.

Dont be afraid to play with the surface of your break pearl...i did not match up with Break Pearl #2 at all OOB, but at 2000 its incredible.

Enjoy and as always comments and questions are welcome!

Great vid, as usual.

As of my viewing, though, you're still 4,100 views behind.

I really like the vid Britton.  However, I do have an issue with the part where you shot it on "Shark".  There were many shots you threw that on a fresh Shark would have hit the 3-6 at best.  It was almost playing like a heavier house shot.  It could be that it was broken down a lot, but IMO you did a disservice to the people that look to your videos to make ball purchases.  I own 2 Breaks and a Pearl and they are tremendous.  But to me, that part of the vid misrepresents the actual capabilities of the balls.

Well im sorry i disserviced everyone....

here is my reply from the code video

"Im at the mercy of the lane machine and lane surface! Between the higher friction surface of HPL's and the house shot "memory" in the lanes this shark will hook a bit more than you see on TV...but trust me there was a definitive oob and it played like 44' of oil..."

I guess i should put in my video, "Its 44' of flatter than THS oil"

Not all sharks play the same, remember that!  My lane was the first run too so sometimes the pattern does not lay down completly true...you guys ask for something other than a house shot im trying to give it to you.

Sorry if this post sounds a little crabby, and its not meant to attack anyone...but i can only work with what is given to me!  At least im not hooking it back from the 3 board...cough cough

ON EDIT:I also was throwing the ball a little slower, that i should have said...on shark i was prolly 14-14.5MPH @ the pins where as the house pattern i am normally @ 15-16mph at the pins

lol i like the cough cough...

But yeah it didn't look like a Shark that you would normally see in any bowling center but, it could have been a light volume of oil. Just like the PBA major a week or so ago that was 50' but they was hooking it from 20 out to the 10 board because it was very light oil.

Doesnt' matter though Britton, people will complain no matter what so, I wouldn't worry about it. You are doing the best you can with what they give you and thats all you can do right? Anyways great video as usual!

Also: this WAS a fresh shark...BUT i also filmed a Blast Zone at 800 grit Dull on it too...that could have changed the pattern quickly...

Basicly there are alot of variables that could make any pba pattern not play the way it "should"...thats my story and im sticking to it haha

I've been disserviced!  Your title says Break Pearl, but the post says Creature Pearl!

You said it all right there.  I gave my opinion.  I was not bashing you, but giving you an honest opinion of what I saw and based on my experience.  Yes, there are a ton of variables involved.  I could say a lot more but I'll leave it at that.

yes, exactly as Andy S said.  I really enjoy your vids Britton, and now with the dual angles, it's even better!  Seeing all strikes is not realistic (for me)and seeing the way the ball reacts, even when not hitting a strike is. Keep up the excellent work and many of us out here do appreciate it!

Britton, awesome video! As ALWAYS. Your AMF Code video was also very nice.

I, too, like how you didn't cut any shots out of the part of the video showing the Shark pattern. It may not have played like a TRUE Shark, but everyone should get the point (like mentioned already, you have no control over that really). For future videos, it would be real cool if you can get other PBA patterns, too, and to do the same thing by not cutting out any shots. That would be a good idea. If you have the chance to that is.

But anyways, great video. 900 Global balls are awesome!
