Absolute Truth is going to be earlier with a much smoother backend motion then an OG Respect(cleaner with a sharper BE) but if you are comparing it to a Respect Solid the motions will be similar. Differences in that case would be the Absolute would hook about 2 more boards downlane for an average rev rate player slightly more for a high rev guy. 

Respects have much more torque to them in the way they transition from skid to hook where the Truth series seems to tumble more through the midlane with a smoother path to the pocket.

Eon in the current line up would be the closest.  If you can find a Truth pearl that is also close to the OG Respect depending on the pattern you used in them.  To get a Skid/Snap motion the Respect was know for use a longer Pin to PAP distance (like 5") with a short pin buffer (Something like 5x45x25)

Would the comparison be the same or similer vs a Moxie?

Yeah the absolute was probably their best attempt at a remake of the moxie well I'll still probably being a replacement for the truth solid.
