I'm not in the position to say anything as it could be a simple rumor.  I'm sure if it is true  there would be a announcement of some sort coming out of SA.

BUT: if you preface the statement you're hearing with, "this is just a rumor", then you aren't spreading it....you're telling us what you're hearing.

This is just a wild guess, but I think 900 Global probably signed a "big named" player to bowl with their equipment, thus bringing 900 Global back to the PBA.  ;D

Considering that one of the recent topics in the 900 global forum was a ball comparison between a Brunswick ultimate inferno and a 900 global ball, we can all 100% deduce that the big news is that 900 is taking over Brunswick.

900Global  on tour and any name bowler going to their company will be minimal in sales. It is however a company spending a lot of money.

Who cares to watch taped shows from a few months ago with bowlers using a ball that has two releases since the telecast available?

If I were them I would pull sponsorship and spend my money else where. No body is watching ESPN while the NFL is on which is why they are on the time spot they have. I lost excitement for the PBA years ago with their continued joke of broadcasting bowling. I hope they turn it around, but I am not holding my breath. With the shows taped months in advance it is about as relevant as watching a PBA event on youtube from 1996.
