Black Ops Vrs. Breakdown reaction?
« on: September 04, 2015, 07:59:20 AM »
I have the eagle so wanting a step down ball so all things being equal, layout, cover prep, how much less backend is the breakdown over the black ops? 50% 20 %?
The harder I try the harder they fall

My estimate on a step down in back end from a Black Ops to a Break Down is at least 50%. The biggest difference you will notice on the Break Down is significantly less flare. The cover is the same strength and both have the same core shape, however the core on the Break Down is way weaker. Furthermore, the Break Down essentially does a really nice job at smoothing out over/under and transition. Depending on the volume of a THS, a Break Down works well as a first ball out of the bag option too. Basically the Black Ops will be a big back-ending machine and the Break Down was not intended to fill that role. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

thanks for the reply, exactly what I needed to know. it would of been very helpful if there was a comparison vid of the two since it's a step down option to the black ops. going to punch one up after the holiday!

Thanks again!
