Luke your videos are very informative.I was disappointed when I see there is no commentary.I know your are a Storm/Roto guy.The guy in the video throws the balls great.I watched all three new releases for 900.The Covert ops has my eye.I have a Black Ops and curious how much stronger the Covert is.Throw in some commentary for these from the bowler.I think we need some videos for 900 Global like the ones you do for Storm/Roto.You do a great job. Thanks

Yeap, too much of a conflict of interest for me to comment, possibly even to upload them to my channel, but at least there's ball reaction to watch . .

Start a channel for Rob.Let him give his opinions on the balls. You can tutor him on how its done.We need a good 900 Global reviewer that's not biased. That's what I like about your reviews. If its not a good match up for your game you say it.

Rob would be a good reviewer, he's a no nonsense or BS guy too, he's just got way too much on his plate right now.  Just finished college, just started an internship, has a 6 month old baby with his wife, still works a few hours every evening in our Lawrence shop, etc.

So you edit out all the non strike shots to make the ball out to be something it's not ?

I'll be honest. The DCT was exciting at first for me, but I'm choosing a Covert and HB over the DCT. The best high end assym I've drilled in years is my Dream On. Only in case of extreme oil do I need to pull out my Incinerate, and within 6 frames I can ball down with confidence because that ball has a built in lane stripper.

The Redux looks less than impressive, and I think this might be too much cover and core together. If you will watch all 3 videos, you will see the HB covering the most boards, with the Covert being the second. Proven cores with good covers always win.

So you can get a good read on ball reaction from poorly thrown shots?  On my personal reviews I'm adding a segment on the end where I shot misses and talk about where the ball tends to be more forgiving, but it's all highly subjective.  The idea is to show how the ball reacts when thrown well because that's the idea right?  Throwing it well?  If I dump one an arrow right, why should I add that shot?  Is it the ball's fault I missed?  Is recovering or bailing you out of a miss an attribute of the ball or the lane condition?  If ideal ball reaction is featured, it's easier to get a read on what the ball actually does rather than seeing a ton of bad shots thrown in there having the ball react differently on every one in response to what you did or didn't do.  There are reasons for how things are done in videos, and it's definitely not to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and mislead them into thinking it's epic and never misses and that they need it no matter what, that's what the commentary on my reviews is for, to give you information to let YOU decide whether you need the ball or not, while I try to show and reinforce the ball reaction.  You're a little too jaded and negative man.

So what would you like to see out of a ball video?  What would you consider impartial and objective?  Watch my Timeless video and tell me what you think.  I thought it was ass and I said so and showed why.  I'm not gonna bag on a ball if it doesn't deserve it though.

I noticed that you snuck the Storm "bolt" logo into the bottom right hand corner.  ;)

For me personally (which I am probably the minority) I like to see a ball being rolled on 3 different sport patterns. A long, short and medium length pattern. Show people where a ball can shine, and where it's not meant for .You will also need a few different styles of release  to help accomplish this. Throwing a ball on a house shot, editing out all the non-strike shots only leads to one thing.
That's a biased opinion from you to help sell a ball to the masses. Throw in all the typical catch words and phases and you have "Another junk review from just another staffer to sell sh*t"

I agree, that would be nice. Can you direct me to someone who does all of what you described in their videos?
