New ball help needed
« on: August 23, 2012, 09:45:08 PM »
So with the new stuff out I am about to pull the trigger and get the Freight Train to replace my Track Animal. Probably drill it the same, not sure of specs as I lost everything.

I am also thinking about the Look for a medium ball however I still have the Break S75 so maybe not a huge difference.

I was maybe thinking the Nuts Pearl instead of the Look. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Adam

Animal is going to roll earlier than the FT, due to the particle in the cover. That being said, I think that the FT would be a great replacement for the Animal. Numbers are similar, and the cover on the FT is much more aggressive nowadays than the MegaFang cover on the Animal.

The Look for a medium ball.. maybe, with polish. The Nuts Pearl is a great throw it towards the ditch ball. If you have friction, it's awesome.

The S75 is going to be stronger than the Look. The Look has a higher RG, and lower diff, so it's going to get down the lane better than the Break.

Maybe a Sure Thing would be a nice step down from the FT...

The Look is my favorite piece from the new line up.  The Look is very versatile, with surface changes it can be used on heavy conditions or lower volume medium conditions.

The Nuts Pearl as stated above needs friction.  Not a good ball for long or heavy vaolume conditions.

Can't go wrong with 900 Global.
