Surface changes on Dark Matter
« on: November 28, 2015, 06:47:07 PM »
Anyone out there played around with the surface on their Dark Matter?  I'm not matching up with it at all so far. Biggest issue with it is it seems to never make the corner if I stay firm with it but if I slow it down to meet it react it's super early and just keeps hooking. But then move in off that shot and it's either more hook or nothing.  I just can't get a good read on what is gonna do at the OOB surface which is weird since I almost always match up with 1500 polished surface. Looking for anything that's worked for others out there or any ideas?

I'd just start by knocking off the polish with a pad by hand.

You're definitely seeing over/under and the best place to start in my mind is to just haze the surface with a pad

If knocking the shine of is still touchy try going 500/2000
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Ok that's kinda what my tHought was.  I was thinking 2000 by hand. If that's too early I was thinking like 500 with a compound
