Billdozer if you a 3 inch pin to pap I would probably definitely re-drill it to say 4.5 to 5 inches from your PAP. Using a 3 inch to PAP might be causing the ball to read to quick in friction, and when you go peft off of that, it has no energy down lane from the ball wanting to start up. Just most opinion.
That was the marvel pearl...might a been closer to a 4"....

That definitely explains why you didn't like your Marvel Pearl. I would be going pin down because I love pin down higher end symmetrics. Since you said you almost never go pin down (which I'd like to hear why in this case), I'd probably want a small weight hole 3 inches deep on one of your go- layouts and drill bigger until it gives you the shape you want.
Never have success with em. I probably coulda made the MP work with a surface change.
It's a sight to see trust me. I get a weird looking motion, most people ask WTH is wrong with my reaction.
I probably drill 1/8 balls pin down.
Most recently a sky rocket (short pin, PSO didn't wanna do pin up...), I get a decent reaction with head oil, but usually it's just werid! Tossed my buddies pin up rolls great for me.
It's probably just my game...I'm a slower speed, rec dominant style, everything hooks on me!
