The Respect
« on: January 27, 2015, 05:15:38 PM »
Layout: 50 X 5 X 40
Rev Rate: 375-400
Thrown on House Pattern in 2 different houses

The Respect is clean threw the heads, reads the midlane strong, with good continuous backend. The Respect will be for medium heavy patterns, the new covers from 900 Global are strong and each line fits in its proper price point. The Respect will fit in well when The Moxie starts to read the lane too earlier. You can blend out the backend with just a little surface. I would not call it skid/flip but for some this well give an easier read on a fresh pattern.

Eye catching colors should stand out on the shelf. Goes through the pins strong, keeping then low for good carry percentage. The Respect should work well for many styles, higher ball speeds may need a little surface to prevent the ball skidding to far, lower speeds may want to consider a length drill to prevent early hook.  ;D

I drilled this ball with the pin above the ring finger with cg pretty stacked.  think it was 4 1/2 pin to pap.  First house I tried it on has really crisp backends and the Respect would clear the heads very easily and then just snap once it hit the backends.  I could literally play as deep as I wanted at this house and not worry about the Respect not making it back to the pocket.  At the other house this ball really had a good look and roll.  Cleared the heads very well and made a nice move on the backend, but a very controllable move.  I could also play a lot deeper than I could with the Dream without the Respect getting squirty in the oil.  Very good core with cover matchup and will be a great ball for anyone looking for a shiny ball that is aggressive.  I am hoping to drill another one of these with a pin down layout to control the backend a little bit more.  Will do another review with that ball.

mike811..Re:The Respect..The new 900 Global Respect picks up where the Moxie left off. The Respect coverstock is very aggressive and yet very forgiving. The Respect gets more length than the Moxie with a very aggressive continuous backend motion. I drilled the Respect with a 4-1/2 x 3-5/8 x 3-3/8 layout the Respect allows me to play many different angles due to the forgiving core dynamics. If I choose to play up the boards with the Respect, it allows you to do that on the fresh pattern because of the coverstock being so clean through the front of the lanes, but if you want to move into the lane and play on top of the oil it still will hook hard when it hits the friction. If you are looking for a very versatile ball on a medium to heavy oil shot this will be a great choice!

Ball looks awesome. Picking up the Dream On today and then the Respect when it comes in. Hoping to have a great 1-2 punch. Thinking about maybe picking up a 3rd for when the lanes get really dry.

This ball intrigues me, I'm a huge fan of polished symmetricals with decent motors and strong covers. Means I'll have quite a few.

I'm pretty sure this ball carries everything. I haven't thrown a ball that threw pins everywhere quite like this one. Truly a gem. 900 Global has hit the nail on the head with this release!
