What happened to the Moxie?
« on: July 14, 2014, 03:01:34 PM »
Just noticed that Buddiesproshop.com no longer has it listed. Then, I went to the 900 Global website and it is no longer listed there either. Anybody know what happened? Is it still being released??

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say their testers found the cover to just be too strong so they went back to the drawing board for that ball.

Or they realized they announced it even though the release date was so far in advance

900 Global lost a sale if it's not coming out now. For sure. Hope its just a temporary removal to make sure the other releases get the attention they deserve.

On another note, the Moxie is still available for pre order on my distributors website.

I'm going with the former here.

I did some poking around and found it. From the home page go: Balls > View All > Limited.
Listed in the "Limited" section, but in the description is listed in the "Prime" series. Could be a glitch in the website. Think the September release date had something to do with it as well. I don't think it was scrapped.

It's back on the front page of the regular website, just saw it.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

I received an email little over a week ago that the Moxie was not being released. Did not say why, but did say they would be releasing another ball on same release date and in same category. The email did not have name or any information on the replacement. I was actually interested in the Moxie. Would have been first Global ball for me in 4 years.

This is what I thought might happen. I'm interested to see if it's actually true and there will be a different ball now

Out of all the balls announced, I was least excited about this ball. Can't wait to see what comes in place of it.

IMHO its better for them to scrap it and try again than to release a turd.  Good that they caught it before releasing it and finding out that nobody likes it.

The Moxie was temporarily pulled from the domestic market for a specific reason, which had absolutely nothing to do with the balls performance.

The Moxie will now be released on 9/30/14 and we will have ball videos up for it in the next few weeks.
