This is a sleeper ball if I have ever seen one. I love the Hook Series, and the Green/Black is one of those balls that you didn't expect much out of, but it delivers more than you would think.

OOB (4000 Abralon, but looks more dull, IMO), it is a heavy rolling monster, but it doesn't burn up. I drilled mine 50x5x65, and it gets through the heads clean, reads the midlane very well, and rolls up very nice. I tried it on Shark after 3 games, and it actually gave me the best read I had. It's not a ball with a lot of flash or glamour, but it is a great piece for the house shots that are on the heavier side, with a smooth and predictable roll.

Likes: Control of the ball, easy to read.

Dislikes: None

Likes:This ball  is a keeper. The hook series is by far the best entry level ball on the market. Drilled mine pin up above bridge. The ball is very clean thru the heads and just stands up and rolls with great continuation. The ball is really easy to read and has has the ability to strike . Great ball for shop owners to put new bowlers in because of performance and PRICE !!
