The 900Global Inception DCT (Divergent Ceramic Technology) Pearl bowling ball continues the success of ceramic technology in a bowling ball. This ball provides big hook and big hitting power through the combination of the Adaptor/D Ceramic asymmetric core and the S86R Pearl coverstock. The Adaptor/D Ceramic core includes a ceramic nugget which creates the most efficient use of mass in a bowling ball. The S86R Pearl coverstock is a strong coverstock that maneuvers heavier oil than most pearl coverstocks. This ball is best suited on medium to heavy oil conditions when a bowler needs a stronger shell.

Color: Green/Purple/Cream

Strong and Powerful

The Inception DCT Pearl is by far my favorite ball produced by 900 Global.  I feel it was literally made for me.  This ball is super clean through the front part of the lane. You can see it start to rev in the midlane and then make the strong turn to the pocket.  It never seems to overreact due to the midlane roll but never stops its continuation through the pins.  I drilled my first one pin down and it just read the THS perfect.  I was able to play further right and it not over react.  I was able to move in and let it go and still able to get to pocket with plenty of energy left.  I was able to keep it tight in the oil and again it just carried without issue.  This ball is stronger in every phase of the lane compared to the original Inception Pearl.  It allows you to open the lane up when needed compared to the Inception DCT.  This ball is a MUST in anyone’s bag.  If you want to strike and strike a ton then this is the ball for you.  Was able to play up 7 with my pin up version on the Earl Anthony. This pattern has tons of volume and the DCT Pearl retained plenty of energy and was still able to drive to the pins without issue.  Seriously loving this ball!!!  I am sure you will to!

Featuring the Adaptor/D Ceramic Asymmetric core and wrapped with the new S86R Pearl coverstock, the Inception DCT Pearl provides easy length and a strong and angular backend motion.

The Inception DCT Pearl is better suited to handle heavier volumes of oil.

We tested the DCT Pearl on our fresh house shot pattern and we were surprised on how smooth and controllable this ball is.

Usually balls with asymmetric big cores and with a shiny pearl coverstock have a skid-flip motion, this is not the case with the Inception DCT Pearl.

We started playing straighter up the lane and we found a great line to the pocket. The Inception DCT is clean through the front part of the lane, but thanks to the Adaptor /D Ceramic Asymmetric core, the ball rev up quickly, providing a strong midlane read and a strong, but controlled backend motion.

This ball provided a big margin of error on our typical house shot pattern. Misses inside of target never went sideways and when we missed too far out, the ball offered a lot of recovery. We kept moving left with both our feet and our eyes, playing a straighter line to the pocket and the ball never overreacted.

We compared this ball with the Inception DCT. The DCT is stronger overall. It has more hook potential, is earlier, smoother and covers more boards than the DCT Pearl.

The Inception DCT Pearl is a great complement to the original DCT. When the solid DCT is too much ball or is losing energy down the lane, the DCT Pearl will be a great ball to go to without making big adjustments.

This ball will be a great option to use on broken down patterns when there is more friction and you need more length and more shape down the lane. What makes the DCT Pearl special is that is not a ball that will make you jump in to keep it in the pocket. It has the length and the shape down the lane of a pearl, but the control of a solid.

Overall, this ball brings a different motion into the 900 Global lineup. The strong, but controlled backend motion this ball has will be helpful to a lot of bowlers. Low rev, speed dominant bowlers will be able to use this ball playing straighter up the lane, while rev dominant bowlers will enjoy the predictability and the energy retention this ball provides.

Thank you for watching!

The Inception DCT Pearl is a great compliment to the Inception DCT solid.
When the very strong hitting power of the solid starts to over power the lanes and you need to ball down, the Inception DCT Pearl is perfect. Very little adjustment is necessary and in some cases you can stay in the same area and strike away. Keep the same layout as the solid or change to what would like, this is a very strong pearl you won’t be disappointed.

Review
The Tour Engineered 900 series Inception DCT Pearl is a great addition to my tournament bag.  This also a ball you can use on league night from start to finish. The S86R Pearl cover stock allows this ball to store energy through the front part of the pattern, with a strong mid lane reaction, and great pin carry. My ball is drilled pin up above the ring finger with CG kicked out to the right. On medium to higher volume sport patterns this will be my go to ball when the lanes begin to transition and solid and/or hybrid piece has lost it reaction. If you need a ball that’s smooth with a great down lane reaction and keeps the pins low for great carry. This ball is for you
