The Torch from AMF is a mid performance ball with a high performance ball reaction.I drilled mine pin above bridge with cg kick out 2". the ball easily clears the heads and stands up and reads the mids with  a heavy roll. Ican also change my release point to go around it a little more and create more of a skid/snap reaction. The F69 Pearl reacive with a comound finish sets up nicely for alot of bowlers. I think this will be a great league ball and a transition ball for Tournament shots.Another hit from 900Globa/AMF.

The AMF TORCH PEARL is an awesome ball!! The TORCH is great addition to anybody’s Arsenal! This ball is great for any style bowler on medium to light heavy conditions. Don't let the out of box appearance of ball fool you, this ball will read medium to light heavy amounts of oil and give you a great reaction to the pocket. I like this ball on the house shots that have more oil in the middle and where you also need the ball to make a pronounced move at your breakpoint. If this is what you are looking for than this is the ball for you. This ball is great for league or tournaments.

WHAT? A MID PRICED ASYMMETRIC BOWLING BALL? THE NEW AMF TORCH BRINGS THOSE SPECS TO THE TABLE. THE TORCH FEATURES THE "T" NEAT PAD WITH A COMPOUND FINISH, EQUIVALENT TO A 4200 GRIT PAD, SO IT DOESN'T READ EARLY LIKE 4000 SANDED, AND DOESN'T HAVE SKID/SNAP REACTION LIKE POLISHED PIECES. THE F69 COVER ALLOWS SMOOTH CONTROL ON MEDIUM CONDITIONS. THE TORCH IS AN AMAZING COMPLIMENT TO THE DECIMATE WHEN THE LANES DRY UP A BIT. THE TORCH AND THE DECIMATE ARE A GREAT START TO WHAT LOOKS TO BE AN AWESOME LINE OF EQUIPMENT FROM AMF! CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE, USER NAME "CONVENTIONALSPINNER"....

Likes: Get a Torch so you can scorch the lanes! I drilled mine with a 5 1/2 inch pin, directly above my fingers right above the bridge. I have been able to throw this ball at three different centers on their THS , and ball looked great at all three centers. This is a great marriage of core to coverstock that will allow you to use this ball on the fresh and even when they break down. Now when the lanes are really broken down, like last game of second shift there are better options. But this is the most user friendly ball AMF has came out with in quite awhile. Great job AMF!

Drilling: 4 x 4 x4
Pap: 4 3/8 x ¼ up
Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary:  I drilled this Pure  with the pin above  below my ring finger and the CG kicked at 45 degrees.  The mass bias on the ball is slightly right of my thumb.   I chose to keep the Factory Finish as I was looking at this ball to compliment the Pure once the midlane started hooking.    This ball was really clean through the front of the lane while still picking up a strong roll in the mid lane.  The backend reaction for me was strong and continuous allowing me to play multiple angles and not sacrifice carry potential.  Another great release from AMF.
