Power Wash and Powerhouse Energizer are basic spray on surface cleaners.

I prefer power wash over Energizer.

Clean N''Dull is a gel like surface deep cleaner. that can get some of the oil out of the porous surface of the ball, as well as removing dirt and grime.

I've tried Kegel Revive it's not really any different than Powerhouse Energizer.

If you want a strong cleaner Hook-It is one of the best. Lanemaster's is suppose to be a good one also, but I haven't tried it myself.

Lanemasters is great - best cleaner I have tried so far, gets any grease and lane conditioner off of the ball surface. But the stench is overwhelming - the price you pay...

I took it to mean it would make the ball less tacky, so it wouldn't pick up the dirt. Of coarse I figured that would mean it wouldn't hook as much either.

I kind of felt that was what happened too! the ball would have a light shine on it, like there was a film on it after I cleaned with it.

Yeah I tried it once. But I prefer my eyes not to water uncontrollably when cleaning my balls. lol

Yes, that might be one side effect... But if you are in a crowded league or tournament environment, just clean your equipment with this stuff and immediately enjoy 10' of private space around you! Nobody will see you cry

Spray it into the rag first, then wipe the ball. Much, much less problem.

FYI the new Lanemasters has fewer of the highly evaporative alcohols for less "fragrance". I.E. weaker smell.

The new stuff has not hit the shelves around here - but if it is as rigid as the smelly stuff, I will definitively give it a try!

How is a cleaner "rigid"?
