Dexter for me! And the new Triheel
« on: August 21, 2006, 03:56:09 AM »
Well so ends a year and 1/2 experiment!

I got some of the more inexpensive Dynorooz!
Sport Deluxe I think.  Adjustable soles and heels.  Super comfortable, rock solid construction...look great...I get tons of comments on them.

Work good also...but only on Wood and some of the new textured synthetic approaches!

For whatever reason and I thought it was the Border they have around the sole...and the threads to hold that sole border in place....I would always feel they were running away from me on slick synthetic surfaces like OLD non textured anvilane approaches.  Then the actual sole inside the border would kick in(but the outside sole border is slicker than the soles I like to use).

Now I've gone back to Dexter SST6 LXs.  I don't like the fit as well as they are a tinch tight as they no longer make lefty wide!
I never felt that Dexter made the most durable shoe...certainly not like the linds(that I see...some 10 years + and over).

BUT for bowling and bowling control of slide...the Dexters are unbeatable.
Because what one gets in the front is exactly the surface one wants. Then in the back I like the new SST6 heels even better than I liked my SST5 heels(new horshoe design).  I am particularly a fan of their new triheel design.
For people who want a great slide on synthetics but don't want to use the red (very slippery heel) I believe the new triheel is unbeatable.  Many guys have switched to it in our center and are tearing the place up like they haven't ever before while looking absolutely their best at the foul line!

I've coupled up the newer number 7 sole and the triheel and am controlling Brunswick Anvilane(slick approaches) and being more balanced and getting better extension out toward the target than I have....in years!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I intend to take my Dynorooz to a local shoe guy and have him tell me if the sole border and stitching is required to keep the shoe together or if he can just remove the border without the shoe falling apart!  Without the sole border...I do love my dynorooz!

Now if they only made a sole that could stop a locomotive dead in its' tracks I'd never have a balance problem at the line again.

the good ole ripple round one,
or the horse shoe ripple, but put them side ways. you want to see leverage for a cranker, you can't beat it.
