Two schools of thought here. One is that if you have a wide foot size or the wide flat toe problem the SST 6 is a good choice.
The other is that it depends on which brand you like. Asking this question here will get you a ton of replies which are all well meaning and will simply tell you the same thing----go with the one that feels the best.
Personally, I have the ABS  and will never switch back.

I have a pair nothing wrong with them. They are very comfortable also. You do get the 4 heals and 4 soles. Each person has their own favorites.

I recently bought a pair of these in blue.  Personally I don't like them, I don't have a very wide foot, and the footprint is very large, they feel like clown shoes.  I'm thinking about selling them and just using my old cheap dexters.

i have blues and love them...but i have a big arse 14 size foot..so wide is good.

others liked the 5s better than the 6s because they found it very hard to slide with the wide footprint of the 6s.

I have the peacock/green ones.  I have a wide foot and still never found these shoes very comfortable.  I drag my right foot behind me so I now have a hole in my right shoe.  after 2 years of use my velcro is worn out,  I've fallen on my a double s 2 times now because of the heel just falling off while I'm sliding and then not being able to stop.  can't use the #2 sole because it is taller than the other soles and it just throws me off balance.  and finally on top of that, Dexter Customer Service SUCKS!  I e-mailed them about my shoes wondering if there was anything I could do.  and they replied telling me that maybe I shouldn't take the soles off and walk outside to get another ball.  I don't know what gave them the idea that I would do that but i have never ever walked outside with a booty on the shoe much less without and with the soles off of it.  I've just ordered my ABS Tour Ultra's. and they're being shiped right now.  I don't know if I'll like them or not, but all I know is that it is impossible for them to be any worse than my dexters.  If you want to get some dexters then go for it, they are cheaper, and a lot of people love em, I just couldn't stand them.  Hope this helps your decision.

Jeremy

P.s.  My friend bought the blue ones about a year after me and his shoes are developing the exact same problems mine had.

Tug,

Like what was stated earlier if you drag your toe or are very hard on shoes probably stay away from these. Check out some of the ABS/Dynro's as they are a good shoe also. Tony at allbowling.com had a good deal on some close outs a little while back and maybe has something in your size. To me its more about preference and how you use them. I currently have the burg SST6's and also Dyno Tour ultras. Both are excellent shoes with pro's and cons. The dexters feel wider and feel much heavier than the ABS/Dyno's. With that being stated the slide soles and heels have tended to hold up a bit better on the Dexters for me.Good luck
