hey guys, i was just wondering if other people who use the red vise hada patch get the same leftover residue on their hand. and if anyone found a way to stop it from occuring please help lol.

It's just what happens when you use an adhesive strong enough to keep it from falling off your hand.  It should come off when you wash your hands.

I use Hada Patch #1 (aqua).  I find it best to remove when finished bowling.  Do not wear it for a prolonged period of time (non bowling that is), it's damn near like krazy glue

Normally hot water and soap removes the gunk.  Afterwards, if there's any residue remaining, i'll hit it with some rubbing alcohol.

If I use the red vise Hada Patch that comes in the roll, it must not have the same strength of adhesive on it that the individual cut lengths do.  The roll comes off leaving no residue (and sometimes comes off a bit early into the 3rd game) -- but the precut lengths are almost like removing skin.

lol that works but if im bowling a tourney with a break, i dont wanna take it off then put a new one on. ok just wondering if anyone had any sorta tricks to make the residue come off easier thats all.

You do not want to stop this. If you do, the tape won't stick to your figure well. A little acetone will remove it at the end of the night. Small sacrifice for a thumb tape that you do not have to worry about. Nothign worse than your thumb tape starting to curl up at the edge in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd game or any time before you're finished bowling!

yea i know that. i guess its a lost cause lol. maybe a little rubbing alcohol when i go to pull it off would get it to come off better.

I use the Blue Hada Patch from time to time and I've found that when you peel the tape off your thumb and rub the excess adhesive off with the same tape, you get most if not all of it off.  Then you don't have to spend 10 minutes washing your hands.

It's fine to use during tournaments.  Providing you don't get it wet (makes it stick much more - I found out by trial and error .. LOL) you should be G2G.  it can be rubbed off and what's left can be removed via rubbing alcohol or acetone (like Charlest mentioned).

Try some goo-be-gone or whatever its called. They used it at the hospital to get those EKGs and the tape they used to keep my IV in(gave us a bottle of it and that stuff will get ANYTHING off).

if it removes the goo from the EKG pads, hell you risk removing skin as well ...  Glue from EKG pads is like krazy glue that doesn't get hard ...

Just use your fingers and roll it up and it comes off, i use the Blue every set. I think you are guys are asking for Cancer putting chemicals on your skin, no way in He11 I am going to take the risk.

Well I dont see the issue with it and you dont ingest it so I see no reason why it would be bad for your health. Lastly when they place enough tape on you to fix a nascar and place those EKG pads and the such under your arms it is the most excruitiating besides a spinal tap but we wont go there and the 4 shots of morphine needed to knock me out enough where I didnt feel it.
