Shoes - update anyone?
« on: April 18, 2014, 11:36:02 PM »
I posted a while back that I really need new shoes and love my old Dynothane/ABS (3G), but being left handed I can only get black and hate pure black shoes. Looking for updated feedback if 3G is coming out with more colors, but heard they may have been discontinued also.
What's the latest, or comments on another brand? Definitely need something with a cleated sole at a minimum...
Thanks in advance

Bump. Usually some good discussion on shoes...nothing? Anyone have contact information for 3G to see if they have other LH styles coming?

I wish I could give you an update on the note I sent to TJ for the 3G Tour Ultras, but he never replied. Those of you who know me know I run a customer service department, and e-mail replies are crucial from a service perspective. Perhaps I have the wrong e-mail address? If I have the right address, this is lousy customer service. If you can't even take care of a customer that is trying to send you their money, how can you take care of someone that you have to convince in the first place?

This is the antithesis of what I received from Buddy's and Radical a few months ago. Obviously I cannot repay a negative customer service experience with buying their product, no matter how much I've enjoyed it over the years. Still looking for recommendations on a replacement brand.

Anyone?

That was the only topic that I remember seeing his email in, but I don't read every topic here and I don't visit other bowling forums.  Maybe someone else has another?

I appreciate the thought and help. I didn't get a bounceback when I sent the note though... It "should" be a valid email address...

I was told by a trusted source that Storm now owns the rights to the 3G brand.

I think the phrase is "they're a majority stock holder now".
From Storm's Feb 18, 2104 announcement:
