Just wondering if anyone had any feedback on these?  I've been wearing Etonic Stabilite Pluses for the past few years and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.  I've battled Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes help cure it. The main reason is they have a lot of arch support (more like tennis shoes) which I need.  The Dexter SSTs I had as well as the Ultra 3Gs are just too flat.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find another pair of the Etonics and the Storm's appear to be the only shoe with similar looking arch/heel support.

I loved the Etonic Stabilites...  have the storm shoes you are referencing, as well as SST8's, S3000 ABS (3G Tour Ultras) and basically all of the hi end shoes. I'd say the arches in the storm shoes are about the same as the SST8's. Definitely not as flat as the S3000 tour ultra 3G's.

Interesting enough the new SST hi end shoes coming later this year will seemingly have the same midsole construction (and toe guarding) as the storm hi end shoes.

I'm assuming you tried eBay to find more Etonicsm

I owned the SST8s but sold them because I drag my right foot.  After destroying 3 push soles in 4 months at $25 each, I changed to the 3G tour.  I have pronation so I bought special insoles in my shoes.  This way, I can buy my favorite shoe without worrying about arch or anything else.

Just a followup since there is very little info.  These are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and I can finally retire the Etonics.  The support in the heel and arch area is fantastic and not as flat as Dexters or 3Gs.   And they are very stable.  I feel like I am sliding with skateboards on.

11.5 but honeslty the SP700s feel slightly better that I prefer to just get another pair.

Many of the higher end shoes have removable insoles.  You can then replace with your own orthotic insoles!

I put in my 2 minute miracles for my Plantar Fasciitis in my SST8s and away I go!
I've been much better since I started.

Check out whether the insoles are removable and then you can put in the perfect arch support for your foot.

Hey BTB,

How do they fit? Wide or narrow? I am thinking about getting a pair for stability.

Buckwild, they are relatively wide at the base and very stable.  I'm a pretty big guy and the stability I have with these are even better than the Etonics.  I would say the fit is between a medium-wide if that makes sense.

LL, I tried insoles and they helped a little but still couldn't overcome the lack of support from the shoe design itself.  The Stabilites and the SP700 have the little "arch" support in the shoe which is why they are so comfortable.  More like running shoe soles versus flat soles.

Attached is a pic of the shoe.  The arch support is built into the shoe sole and then the insole compliments it.

Thanks! Now to save up some pennies to pick these up. Storm is using the Nike philosophy. Put on the swoosh (in this case the lightning bolt) and the price automatically shoots up! The cheapest I seen these for is $134.99
