On that particular shot it's barely noticeable at all.  If that's as bad as it gets I wouldn't over analyze things...  The line is pretty straight.

Having said that, in my opinion, if you push the ball away to the right it's likely to return to the left (if you're swinging it freely).  Conversely, if you drop the ball under your shoulder and head it can return in the same "groove".

We're not all built the same and have the same amount of flexibility, so comparing yourself to a tall, lanky guy with a pendulum arm swing (as an example) may not be of benefit.  As long as you can repeat what you're doing you can usually find a way to score.

i agree with notclay. not a whole lot of obstruction in your swing. i would be more inclined to look at the position of your nonbowling arm. the NBA should be on the ball side during step 2-3-4 to open up your shoulders and promote working the inside of the ball.

So would I put my NBA in front of me until the point of release then swing it to my left? I just want to know that I am on the same page as you.

Thank you for the rest of the feedback. I guess looking at my video, I thought my swing should be more in line and not so far behind my back.

yessir. in step 2-3-4 when you take a video from the back like the one you posted, you should see your left hand on the right side of your right shoulder and as the ball is coming forward in step 4 and as you slide, your NBA should be coming around and finish like yours does in the video, out for balance with the thumb pointing down.

Thank you for that tip. I will try to put that in my game to see if I can consistently do it. I assume this will give me more leverage with my swing when I can get my nba in sync with my release?

absolutely! look into the "drop your damn shoulder" system by joe slowinski. what it has done for me is increase my axis tilt, speed and revrate as well as accuracy and repeating shots. theres info on his website and a group on Fb
