279/780 with Primal Scream after numerous surface changes..
« on: November 09, 2012, 07:59:56 AM »
I have had this ball for several weeks and just about ready to give up on it after trying numerous cover changes. I ordered some of the Motiv Gel Scuff and put some on before league last night and that was the ticket for me. I had a nice look all 3 games. I had 17 in a row at one point between the end of the 2nd game and beginning of 3rd game.I had 2 splits the beginning of 1st game which cost me a chance at 800.. Oh well, happy anyways..

I'm glad I was patient and kept trying all the changes till one worked!!

Very nice Jim.  Of the new Motiv stuff this ball is special.  Took me a few sets to figure out where, when and how to use it for best effect.

The Venom Strike on fresh medium to light-medium patterns or Sigma Tour on slightly more fresh and Primal Scream as 2nd ball as fresh has broken down are great balls.

The ball guide is a great tool to see where these balls stack up.

Nice shooting buddy. I was thinking of getting one, or waiting until you sold yours, but the Venom Strike is way stronger than advertised, so I don't need anything more aggressive now.

After two games I ended up adding some finesse it polish to mine to get the skid snap reaction I wanted/expected from the ball. Box finish the ball was clean through the front but didn't have the finish down lane I was hoping for.

The polish really made the ball come alive for me.

Great bowling
