COMMENTS

About me, I average between 231 and 237 in 3 different houses. I have close to a 350 rev rate, and I consistently throw the ball between 16.8 and 17.2 mph.

First, before I get to anything technical, the look of this ball is incredible. The color of the green is extremely bright and entertaining. I was asked at least 4 times what ball that was before I even threw one shot last night.

I have this ball drilled with the pin right above the fingers in the middle of the bridge.

This is the best ball I have seen in years as far as combining good control with a hard hit. This ball is not extremely angular, but it always clears the heads and destroys the pins. The ball is a great answer for dry lanes. My personal favorite attribute of the ball, though, is its forgiveness. I know I was bowling on a relatively easy house shot, but this ball gave me a little room wide and a little room to pull. For me, its all about having the most room to miss and still strike, and the DV8 Green Misfit definitely helps you in this area of the game.

Thanks DV8. This ball is fantastic

COMMENTS

The Misfit is so much more than an entry level ball.  While it is listed as the entry level ball for the DV8 brand, this ball performs better than many mid-range balls I have thrown from other companies.  The ball packs an abundance of performance.  My strongest drilled Misfit is quickly becoming my favorite ball.  When this ball starts to make its move, it does not quit.  I can play from the deepest angles on the lane and the ball rolls through the 8 pin every single time.  Being a high speed player I usually have a hard time getting a ball to go this far down the lane and still make the strong angular move this ball makes.  It is amazing how this ball goes through the pins.  On a fresh THS this ball has slightly too much push, but when the shot breaks down this ball has no problems.  I can see this ball being my go to ball on some lower volume, longer sport patterns.

Likes: The ball motion through the pins that this ball creates.  And the amazing Lime Green and White color!

Dislikes: NONE!

This in my opinion is the coolest of the 3 colors! The Misfit is the best bang for your buck at the $120-$130 price point! I Have one drilled pin above my bridge with a small shift and no hole and I have one Rico'd (pin in palm, CG kicked 45 degrees with a hole where the mass bias should be). They go through the pins like a $220-$230 bowling balls! Love them!

Likes:The Misfit is probably the hardest hitting best rolling Entry Level ball on the market. It has tremendous hitting power and a very predictable breakpoint shape.
have drilled 2 of these on pin down below my middle finger with the cg an inch from my axis point  and p4 weight hole to get the ball to roll a touch stronger and smooth out the dry. The second is a pin up above my RING finger stacked layout cg in palm of my hand no weight hole. This one rolls great on a broken down or light volume house shot when everything else in your bag is hooking too much or if you just want to go straighter up the boards. They are also extremely good on wet /dry house patterns. By no means do these balls hit like an entry level ball. You won't be disappointed !!! Already have (2) 300 games with this ball

WARNING : THIS BALL IS EXTREMELY SEXY!!!!

Dislikes: NONE
