I started bowling back in the 70's and I remember throwing a plastic ball on wooden lanes. Things have really changed since those days! As I grew to love the sport I eventually purchased a reactive ball and it was thrilling to watch your ball move across the boards into the pocket. But as time went on the lanes (in most houses) were converted over to synthetic surfaces and those old urathane and rubber balls were quickly outdated and outmanned by new coverstocks such as the Pearl.
When I read up on the Blue Hammer I knew I wanted one. Such terms as "Old school ball with new technology" made it a must have for an "Old school bowler."
I have a Black Widow, a Jigsaw and a Jacked Raw Hammer but they are nothing like this Blue Hammer. Very smooth into the breakpoint with very little snap to the pocket. But make no mistake, this smooth cat hits like a Hammer. I am really impressed with this ball and it has earned a spot in my travel bag.
