Hey Big B Fans......

What's the Bruiser going to do ?? Meaning, where does it FIT in the Monster line ?  Power Koil 18 and the Quantum core.....equals what ?? Strong I would guess, but I'm not that familiar with B, and/or what the Quantum did...

Yo,

This should equal a very strong but smooth ball. I own three B-balls with the Power Koil 18 coverstock and still use them regularly. I just started finding NEW ways to use my Sage Quantum(thanks to Doc's Magic Elixir)and all I can say is....this should be a benchmark ball for Big B, much like the old DangerZone started the legacy of "Zones". Coverstock should match up with most medium conditions, but because of the core, you'll probably be able to play on some medium-heavy to heavy conditions as well, if squared up. Can't wait to see it.

The Monster Bruiser will have the most length and most backend than any other ball in the Monster line. Im on Brunswick Amateur staff, and we will be getting them in a couple of days, ill post on it when i drill it and throw it. From what ive been told, it will have great recovery off the corner, not sure how smooth it will be with the combo of the Powerkoil 18 and weight block, but we will see, if its stronger than my Frenzy, it will fit in my bag nicely.

Given the Bruiser specs, it's relationship to the original DangerZOne is so close to identity. See below:

I know the RG specs vary SLIGHTLY
BUT the telling portionis Brunswick's own estimate of the
Hook, Length and Breakpoint shape.
That says to me they were looking for a Danger Zone specifically.

I noticed that, too, when I saw the Web page for the Bruiser.  Someone from Brunswick once told me that they were recommending the SmashR for those people looking to replace a Danger Zone.  So now will the Bruiser be replacing the SmashR?  If not, why have both balls in the line?

I guess we'll find out soon enough...
