I had this ball at 500 abralon. It gives it a different overall ball reaction than the Wicked Siege and Alpha Max. It basically fits in between in a sense. It reads the midlane earlier than the out of box Wicked Siege and Alpha Max and also has a relatively defined breakpoint. Even in this finish, it covers just about as many boards as the Wicked Siege, but is of course a little less versatile with such an aggressive finish. When you need a more aggressive midlane read, and less board coverage on the backend, this ball will help control that condition. Alpha Max is still a lot stronger than the Loaded Revolver, particularly at the breakpoint. The Loaded Revolver has a relatively smooth transition at the breakpoint, compared with the Wicked Siege, Alpha Max, or Damage.

I was looking for a ball to fill a gap in my arsenal before my trip to Reno next week and had been flirting between the new Karma's or a Loaded. I really needed a pin down pearl, but I'm not a big fan of pin down equipment in general, due to the way I roll the ball. I'm up the back of the ball more than I would like to be sometimes and pin down equipment tends to give up on my at about 30 feet. For this reason, I rarely punch up pin down equipment and often despise the equipment before I even throw it. In this instance, I was afraid that the Karma's might be a little too weak for what I wanted and so I had Xclusive Pro Shop and Brunswick Pro Shop Staffer Doug drill me out a Loaded.

Ideally, I envisioned a ball that would not only give me the kind of powerful backend motion of a traditional strong pearl, but controllability to go with it. The ball needed to be clean through the front part of the lane, read friction in the midlane to give me the predictable backend. With power to spare. Some people say I expect too much from my equipment.

We went with a 45*5-1/4*65 with a P2 hole. PIN DOWN!!! Trust me, before I even threw the first ball I had doubts.... but since that first ball out, I have really loved this ball. It is the kind of reaction and pin action that puts a smile on my face and amps me up to bowl. On a longer, higher volume pattern like the 41 foot version USBC white pattern, my pin-up pearls don't give me any kind of midlane read causing me to go to stronger overall balls, which leave me weak at the pins. The combination of the low pin and the aggressive pearl cover of the loaded got through the front of the lane with ease, picked up just enough in the middle of the lane to prepare for the backend and demolished the pins as it turned the corner. The ball finished between the 8-9 off the deck even on bad shots. I played out with it, in the middle of the lane, and over 4th arrow and never saw the ball give up on the back. This ball fits right in between my Wicked Siege and my Damage and gives me a great step-down from my Wicked. This is another great Brunswick addition to my arsenal. ONWARD TO RENO!!!

I was very impressed with this ball from the start! The first time out was on a THS with LOTS of over/under. While I sat back and watched everyone on my pair struggle with the over/under, I had no problems with ball reaction. The Loaded Revolver cleared the heads easily and finished strong on the backends. When I saw how clean the ball got through the heads I was afraid of leaving corner pins, but the midlane roll on this ball the corner pins are never an issue.

I've used this ball quite a bit lately and it's one of the most predictable balls I've thrown. This ball fits well in my bag when my Wicked is picking up in the midlane a little too early. I can go to the Loaded Revolver and it'll clear the heads and midlane with a strong arcing finish on the backends.

Dislikes: None Yet!

I wanted a ball to compliment my Revolver. I was looking for something that would start up on the lane a little earlier and I can use in heavier oil conditions which is exactly what I got. Using the Propel X coverstock from the Wicked Seige and a lower RG core, this ball is a beast on heavier oil. The cover allows the ball to make a smooth turn when reaching friction, and the core is a lower RG so that it can rev up quicker in the midlane. This ball doesn't quit downlane and goes through the pins with authority. This is another great ball in the High Performance Line of Brunswick Balls. Keep up the good work Billy O, and the brunswick team!

My Loaded Revolver came with a 3 inch pin with a top weight of 3. I drilled my Loaded with my favorite layout with the pin above my middle finger and the cg in my palm. Once my original Revolver started to hook early and burn up a little, I took out my loaded and it was like they reoiled the lane without my noticing. I was able to move a few boards inside and it allowed me to open up the lane. The ball got through the heads super clean and gave me a nice skid/flip reaction I haven't seen a while. The combo of the Revolver and the Loaded is unreal. Once you can't keep your angles relatively straight with your revolver, just take out the Loaded. I can't wait to throw the new Lethal Revolver. I have a feeling it's gonna be a nice little combo of both.

Tweener. PAP 4 3/4 right, 5/8 up. 325 rpm, 17mph.

I laid out my Loaded Revolver pin 5.25" from PAP (above bridge) with the intent of it complimenting my Wicked Siege with the same pin placement and MB at about 80degrees. The Loaded and Wicked share the same coverstock in Propel X Pearl but the Loaded's rg is lower, diff is higher and uses the symmetric jack core instead of the asymmetric MACE core. The wicked for me is one of my favourite balls, and is pretty much a benchmark ball with a little extra backend. I wanted the Loaded to be a little earlier, rollier and stronger than the Wicked.

The Loaded was earlier and rollier than the wicked, but just didn't have any drive in the backend like the Wicked. On conditions/surfaces with lots of backend it looked fine, but so did pretty much everything else in the bag so I honestly was not very impressed. I polished it, hope that spending more time in the dry boards would give me the reaction I wanted, but it just started squirting on me so I got frustrated and decided to tinker with it. I added a 7/8 weight hole 2" down from my PAP and took the surface down to 1000 abralon, and have had some very impressive results. The xhole helped increase the flare, while the sanding added hook and suddenly this ball has achieved what it was intended to do. It is a little stronger than my wicked, but probably 4-5 boards less than my Lethal. I was +300/7 with it on Thursday night in pot games with a 14 bagger while the other guys I were bowling with couldn't control their reaction off of the dry. This ball had a very nice even motion off of the dry boards and was rolling up nice and early to give me that consistency.

A ball that I honestly did not like out of the box is now one of the balls I am most excited to throw all because of a weight hole and sanding. If I were to drill another Loaded, I would definitely want to lay it out stronger and for anybody who has a Brunswick ball that they for some reason don't like, take it to your pro shop and see what adding a weight hole or adjusting the surface can do for you. Don't give up on your equipment because you don't like the look out of the box - go ahead and tinker with it until the ball provides the perfect reaction for you!
