Before investing in any piece I always take a stroll here prior doing so. I needed a ball to fit between my Ringer line and my Mastermind line for tourneys. One of my concerns was about the statements on how smooth it was and not as angular. A few people I drilled this ball for posted great scores so I felt that I should take add this ball as well. So when I drilled this piece I drilled it to the lower side of my favorite layouts. (50 x 3 1/2 x 25) I felt this with a touch up on the surface would fit nicely in my bag. When I took the ball out it was indeed smooth, but the recovery was dead on for me. It wasn't snappy, but it made a nice sharp move to the pocket and the carry was great. When my Masterminds are too snappy and it's not as chewed up in the mids for my Ringers the LT-48 rolled very well. This is a great THS ball but it really shined when the lanes are tricky and you're dealing with wet/dry patterns this ball rolled very well. I also love the price of the ball. You get a lot of ball for the price.
This get you great length, don't overreact when it transitions, and the smooth continuous finish. It's not a skid/flip or a heavy rolling ball. This ball worked as a milder benchmark piece that helped tighten up my bag and gave me an option I didn't have before. If you need more angle the Gold Rhino would be a great add to lead you into the Ringers.
