Opinions on the Fanatic BTU Pearl?
« on: July 21, 2017, 04:20:24 PM »
Hi all, my "weak" pearl ball is a Storm Joyride.  Recently, I been having horrible carry with it, even though I do oil extraction and resurfacing, the ball kind of turned into a turd with absolutely no carry.  The last time I used it in league, I left 4 splits in one game and decided to put it away.  I recently opened my bag and found that the Joyride did a 3 way split halfway around the ball.

My question is this, what's your opinion on the BTU Pearl as a replacement for the Joyride?  Anyone been throwing one or seen others throwing it?  Good or not so good?

It got mildly mediocre ratings over at BTM especially compared to the solid but then again pretty common opinion on here that BTM reviews are mediocre.  Still looks interesting to me but have my weak pearl already (old BVP Rampage I massively resurfaced and polished to the hilt).  I think the Brunswick fans on here mentioned the Rhino as another good choice for weak pearl.  My Blue Hammer also handles anything my Rampage is too strong for.
