This is a great high performance pearl.  I like using this ball right after throwing either a Mastermind Strategy or Absolute Nirvana.  Once these balls start getting lazy, the True Nirvana steps right in.  This ball is clean through the heads and picks up hard in the midlane.

This is a great high performance pearl.  I l usually go to this ball after the Mastermind Strategy or Nirvana start reacting sluggish.  The True Nirvana is very clean through the heads and picks up nicely in the midlane.

We drilled it 35X4X50 with an Xtra hole in P3, this layout works nicely for my game.

A great addition to the Brunswick line.

League Average: 220   PAP: 5 x 3/4  Ball Speed: 17 mph  Style: tweener   Bowling Hand:  Left Handed  Rev Rate 400   Pattern:  THS Med oil, Seoul sports shot

The Nirvana line is one of the best ball lines I have seen so far from Brunswick. The way these balls get through the heads is remarkable.  The True Nirvana is so clean through the front part of the lane and makes its move in the mid-lane and the back end reaction is phenomenal.  Good recovery and no loss of hitting power or drive with this ball.  I went with a 70 x 4" x 25  Simply put, this ball is an absolute monster. I have been able to use the True Nirvana  on a variety of conditions.  Weather it is thrown on a house shot or a sports shot.   I have found no difficulty getting it to the pocket.   This ball is another winner for Brunswick and one everybody should have in there bag.  It is becoming my benchmark ball.
The opinions stated above are mine and mine alone.  Brunswick had or has no baring on them.

Brunswick #1 in Bowling.

Layout: 60 x 5 1/4 x 25

PAP: 5 1/2 Left : 1 1/2 Up

The Nirvana line has been an interesting one for me, starting with the Original Nirvana. When I first drilled each of them (the Original, Ultimate, and Absolute), I didn't really see what everyone else was seeing right away. It took me a little time with the ball to really see its potential (currently, the Ultimate is my ball of choice). The True Nirvana broke this mold. Right away, I saw what I was seeing in the ball demo videos: really clean through the front and hard off the spot.

I decided to lay this ball out with the first two numbers pretty close to my other Nirvanas, but the last angle I decided to go a little lower than I normally do. This was to have a ball with that big core, but still be able to use it late in the block. What I noticed was this ball is really good at getting through the fronts later in the day, and still saves the energy to turn and go through the pins. The only negative to this is I want to use it more at the beginning of the block, but it is too clean for that, and I notice a little over/under with it (which I believe is mainly due to the layout/surface I chose with it).

This ball gives me a great alternative option to one of my all time favorite balls, the Mastermind Brainiac. I find when one ball isn't going through the pins the right way, and I need a similar look, but a slightly different shape, these two balls complement each other very well. I also find that this is the perfect ball to ball down from the Ultimate Nirvana. When the Ultimate is either hooking a little early and burning out, or turning the corner a few feet sooner than you are looking for, the True Nirvana lets you stay where you are and give you the adjustment you need.

If you are looking for a ball that will give you that "Big Ball" hit that you have on the fresh later on in the block, the True Nirvana is the answer you are looking for.

The True Nirvana is one of my new favorite balls in my bag. This ball gets through the fronts incredibly well for a ball with such a strong core in it. The Mastermind Scholar was one of my all time favorite balls and this ball has replaced that spot nicely in my bag. Even know this ball is a pearl it not oil sensitive due to the strength of it's core. When you miss into the puddle with this ball it still picks up and goes through the pins with authority. If you like balls that pick up strong in the midlane and  come off the dry with a pretty angular shape, this one is for you. Stop by your local pro shop and pick one up today.

Probably my favorite in the Nirvana series and most versatile. It's a perfect compliment to the absolute nirvana. It's length and angle it has without giving up any midland control is what makes this ball special. I would say it's a good foot longer than the absolute and 5 or 6 boards more on the backend. Great to goto when the absolute loses energy

COMMENTS

Likes: Ability to open up the lane without the fear of missing the breakpoint

Dislikes: none

The True Nirvana is a picture of long and strong.  It comes off the friction down the lane very hard while exhibiting very little oil sensitivity.  This ball can be used in some fresh lane situations when you need to open your angles.  The True Nirvana is very hard to throw past the breakpoint.  I find that firm misses that would result in washouts with other pearl balls result in pocket hits with this ball.  With the right release and ball speed you can also move right with it.  It is the perfect step down from the stronger Nirvana or Mastermind balls.  The True Nirvana is not weak but it does get great length.  I find this one to be several feet later than the Absolute Nirvana with several more boards of recovery on the backend.  If your looking for a reliable, versatile skid snap ball check out the True Nirvana.

The True Nirvana continues the amazing Nirvana line.  This being a stronger pearl allows for a different shape compared to the other nirvana's.  When my Absolute Nirvana and original nirvana want to being to burn up and flat 10 on me, I know its time to go to the True Nirvana.  This ball is much cleaner as compared to any other nirvana in the lane and is the most angular one of them all.  I love getting in with this ball.

When I heard about the True Nirvana I pictured a very long and strong ball motion.  Then I started hearing about the True Nirvana picking up in the midlane and I was curious on REALLY how much backend this ball would have.  I drill my True Nirvana gripline to give it a very long and strong motion.  This ball has surpassed my expectations!  The True Nirvana might be one of the best all around pearl balls I’ve every thrown.  The True Nirvana does read the midlane, but retains energy and still provides a very angular/strong backend reaction.  When my Absolute Nirvana starts getting a little to lazy or I need to open up my angles a little more, I can go to the True Nirvana.  I feel like because the True does read the midlane it’s not as sensitive as other pearl balls.  I think the True Nirvana is a MUST have in your bag.  Pin up or pin down….doesn’t matter.

This is by far my favorite ball right now. I drilled mine pin down (70 x 4 1/2 x 75) as I did not want a pin up (70 x 4/ 1/2 x 40) like I have on my grudge pearl. I wanted to have 2 strong pearls that rolled different. I have found that the TN is a very versatile piece. It clears the heads nicely then gets to the friction with a hard turn left for me, it allows me to play up the boards on fresh and move in on a burned up late shift. The TN and GP complement each other very well, if you want to stick with strong pearls. Great 1 2 punch.

Right Handed
Ball Speed 17-18
Rev Rate 450
Pap 4 5/8 right 1 3/8 up

Ball Specs
Pin 3-4
Top Weight  2 3/4 ozs

Layout 80 x 4 1/4 x 40

This ball clears the fronts for me easily with a angular motion that is indescribable at the back end. I have never had a Motion quite like this at the back end. Honestly to me it looks like its going to ring a ten pin every time but it kicks it out somehow! I have only used it on our house shot which at our house is a 41 foot pattern. I find it very good on fresh house shots with the ability to really open your angles up. Don't be afraid to move DEEP! I love the carry I have been getting with the ball and have had some great series with it. This ball is well very fun to throw and I personally think it is super cool looking!

If your looking for a ball that looks Great and want to be able to get deeper! This ball is for you!! It loves to make the corner down lane with creating a bunch pins dancing on the deck!

Bowler Specs:
Left Handed
Rev Rate 450
Ball Speed 18mph
Axis Tilt 14 degrees
PAP 5 over ¾ up

Ball Specs:
Pin 3-4
Top 3oz
Pin 2-3
Top 2.5oz

I drilled 2 True Nirvanas  1st was drilled 75x 5.5x60 pin under middle finger cg in palm with no x hole.   2nd was drilled 55x4.5x45 pin over ring cg kicked out with p3 x hole.
True 1 is a great addition to bag as a step up from my benchmark danger zone…  It clears the fronts with ease and has a very similar look on the lanes as my danger zone but it checks up just a touch sooner and as about 3 more boards down lane as compared to my danger zone.
True 2 is also a great addition to my bag. This true comes into play when I need to open up the lane and need recovery down lane but my Mastermind Brainiac creates too much angle.  The Pin up True Nirvana reads about a foot sooner on the lane than the Brainiac and still creates enough angle to snap out the corners from inside. For me I throw the Brainiac on lighter volumes of oil and the True Nirvana on heavier volumes.

To sum it up, Get a True Nirvana and put your favorite layout on it and will be a favorite in your bag….  If you’ve been on the fence about drilling a Brunswick ball and can’t decide what ball to drill,  The True Nirvana is your ball…

Laid my True Nirvana out 55x5x40 (pin up) and kept it in box finish.
I used a very similar layout on both the original and Ultimate Nirvanas to much success and was hoping to experience that same shape on just a little less oil.
The True Nirvana is a very unique looking ball (Peach/Gold/Black) with a very unique shape.  It gets through the fronts pretty well for a large cored asym and definitely covers some territory down the lane.  The True Nirvana most reminds me of the Mastermind Scholar in that it is a sensitive ball that on the correct conditions can blow the entire lane open, but on snappy backends or the wrong patterns can make an easy pattern look tough.  The True Nirvana is a little less sensitive to oil than the Scholar, but of Brunswick's current lineup (haven't compared it to the Tenacity yet) is easily the most responsive ball in the arsenal.

My best experiences with this ball have been as a ball down from when my Kingpin or Pitbull Growl start to burn in the fronts.  The True Nirvana gives me the same strong downlane motion that I see out of the Kingpin but with a few more feet of length, allowing me to typically shove my feet 4-5 boards to the right.  The True Nirvana compliments my Pitbull Growl by giving me a ball that sees the friction a little harder to open up my angles once the shot transitions. The longer the pattern, the more oil pushed down the lane and deeper I get, the better my look is this ball.  45' Route 66 and 44' Big Ben have been my 2 best looks with this ball around the 3-4 game mark.

I recommend this ball for anybody wanting some help to play the middle of the lane and see their ball finish.  Keep it away from the wet/dry outside patterns and use it for what it was designed for - dominating long oil.
