Monster Green/Black Reactive
« on: December 31, 1969, 06:00:00 PM »
The Monster Reactive joins the ProActive Purple Monster to create a
mid-price ball set with dramatically contrasting ball reactions. The ball
combines the time tested PowrKoil 17 cover stock with Monsters unique
Monster Body and Double Death end-caps core system to deliver a powerful but
smooth ball reaction. Best suited for medium oily to medium dry lane
conditions the Reactive Monster is the perfect compliment to the Purple
Monster's ProActive ETX- 4 high traction performance. The Reactive Monster
is for moderate amounts of oil, the ProActive Monster for heavier amounts of
oil. The Reactive and ProActive Monster's PowrKoil and ProActive cover
stocks deliver frightening performance and a huge range of ball reactions
that will make other mid-price balls sets tremble in fear. The
specifications are: Part Number: 60-103368; Cover stock: Reactive PowrKoil
17-Rubbing Compound finish; Hook Potential: 80; Length: 135; Typical
Breakpoint Shape: 80; RG Max: 2.584; RG Min: 2.531; RG Diff.: 0.053; RG Avg:

15lbs
pin over ring and middle finger with cg in palm(lefty)
600 grit polished
My very first 15lb bowling ball and one of my all time favorite bowling balls. It had a smooth transition on medium-heavy conditions and was controlable enough to be played on medium-dry shot. This was my benchmark ball 3 years ago and was always out of the bag first to be thrown in practice.after around the 200th or so games it died down and couldnt even move as strong as it once did.
At one point I used this ball on dry lanes and was basically unbeatable with it.Fortunately it has been put too good use as a spare ball. if you throw it too wide it has the hold to stay on the lane which is a good thing.even if you throw it straight it won't move at all which might be helped by my speed.Overall its a great ball and it has served me well. Brunswick I think its time for a remake!
