I have the ball laid out for high flare/big hook.  Definitely needs oil to not over react on the back end.  Stores a lot of energy and unleashes in the last 10 feet.  I wouldn't call it a flip, but it really makes its move at the end of the lane.  Has no trouble getting through excessive carry down.  Very consistent and predictable reaction in my opinion.

The best part about the ball is the way it grips the lanes at the deck.  The ball hits the head pin and just keeps stuck to the planks to drive through.  Lots of messenger pins sent from left to right during use for some "forgiving" strikes.  Anything in the pocket makes you look like strikes are too easy for you.

MAXIMUM POWER!

This ball is amazing.  My 15lb. is drilled with pin right of ring finger with CG to the right of the hand.  I need to get a balance hole drilled soon before joining any tournaments.  This ball is great for medium-heavy house patterns.  But this ball really shows its true colors after a game or two on a freshly oiled THS.  The hook is a heavy arc and when this ball hits the pocket, it is going to clear the deck.  The pin carry on this ball is amazing.  I threw the Columbia Resurgence on the same line as the Action Max and for some reason, the Action Max still hooked harder even tho the Resurgence is meant for Heavy Oil conditions.  THIS BALL IS AMAZING!  I'M GETTING AT LEAST 15 TO 20 MORE PINS PER GAME WITH THIS BALL.

just used one of these last night in a league.  it's drilled pin down with cg kicked out some.  I like the even roll this ball had on the fresh oil and the strength it had to get through the oil.  There was no big move downlane but you could see it working and arching to the pocket.  went 221 and 200 with it before changing to another ball.  not a bad showing but looks very similar to my RIVAL ball also from columbia.  they seem to have the same movement downlane with the same length.

great looking ball also.  after putting it away I had several other bowlers wanting to try it out and made offers on buying it.  not sure yet what I want to do but it's definately another great piece from columbia.
