Columbia 300 Lit Pearl video and written review
« on: March 06, 2018, 01:12:21 PM »

Hello guys, this time we had the opportunity to try the new Columbia 300 Lit Pearl.

The Lit Pearl offered our tester a great reaction on our THS. The ball is clean through the heads and as soon as it hits the friction, the ball makes an aggressive turn to the pocket without being too angular or a “skid-flip” motion.

The Lit Pearl offered our tester a lot of recovery when he missed outside, and surprisingly the coverstock is aggressive enough to create some traction through the oil when he missed inside of target, allowing our tester to have enough room to hit the pocket consistently.

On fresh, our tester was able to square up and play a tighter line to the pocket and he got 9 strikes on his first 10 shots. Later in the session, when he created a track area, he was able to move 4 boards to the right, opening his angles and the ball offered enough recovery to kick out those corner pins.

The Lit Pearl will be a perfect complement to the original Lit. The Lit is a great ball to use on fresh oil patterns, and the Lit Pearl will allow you to open up the lane and
play steeper angles when there is more friction or when the Lit is too much ball.

The Lit Pearl is definitely a versatile piece and it can be used on a wide variety of conditions.

Thank you for watching!
