Hyde

I heard this ball is much more aggressive than Columbia's specs indicate.  I love Columbia equipment but I've heard this is much more ball than either of the Wickeds or any other mid-priced offering they have.  My friend said his Polished Hyde outhooks his Polished Icon.  I'm wondering if any of the higher rev players have thrown one and how does it compare to other Columbia products.  I'm considering getting one and giving it a mild polish to compliment a dull Icon with a 3 1/2 x 1 drilling.

I highly doubt it.  The core looks more along the lines of the Rock-Star than the inverted teardrop with a flipblock like the messengers.

DP3 - I agree about the rockstar=jekyll except that the jekyll has a little more flair potential due to the fact that there is a flip block on top.  I think it's just the difference in core density.

I think that the jekyll is a very good core and coverstock combination.
