Columbia is continuing with the successful technology that was introduced with the original Swerve by offering the Swerve GT bowling ball. This high performance bowling ball features the Reflex Hybrid coverstock which provides a strong mid lane traction and down lane continuation. The Swerve core is driller friendly and produces a stronger mid-lane read than most symmetric cores but is still predictable. Columbia has added their HyperSHOCK Technology to the outer core of this ball which allows it to power through the pins rather than letting the pins influence the motion of the ball through the deck. Accelerate your performance with the Columbia Swerve GT!

Have had the Swerve GT for 3 weeks and using on 2nd shift house shot. I have been very impressed. I am older bowler with average (14-15) speed and average rotation. The ball has been very flexible and predictable. It's overall hook is about the same as Storm No Rules but it will go a bit longer before turning. It reads the middle part of the lane exceptionally well. I can move feet/target left or right a couple of boards and the ball will still hit the pocket better than other balls which are much more sensitive to small changes. It has also carried 10 pins more than other balls.

The Swerve G/T is the latest and greatest member of the Swerve family.  The Hybrid coverstock makes this ball more controlled but it still maintains its strong down lane motion.  The ball seems to work best on the fresh or heavy oil.  From what I have seen so far the ball is clean through the front of the lane, starts to rev up in the mid lane and has a strong back end motion at the back of the pattern.  I drilled mine 70x5x30 which is the same layout I used for the Swerve F/X and the difference I have noticed is the G/T is stronger down lane.  I would recommend this ball for bowlers looking to add a strong high performance ball to their bag for fresh oil or for tournaments with higher volumes of oil.  Since the ball comes finished at 500/2000 I hit it with a 4000 pad to smooth it out a bit and the results have been great.  For more information please visit www.columbia300.com.
