Still had the old wood lanes track in it. Have a spinner and was wondering what level to resurface it too. It was very shinny from the old lane oil and I don't remember what it looked like when I first got it. I am right handed, a stroker with good speed 15 up to 18. I took the track out with 320 grit 60 seconds on two sides. Next was 400 for 60 seconds on other two sides. next 500 for 30 on four sides and I have done 1000 Aberlon on two. Any hints on what the out of box finish for the Original Danger Zone was? Thanks

600 grit and rough buff - http://www.ballreviews.com/coverstock-preparation/what-surface-on-original-danger-zone-t196327.0.html (notice even a decade ago charlest knew his stuff). Also pretty sure first DZ ball first came out in early to mid 1990s because almost sure it was a reactive.

The OG Danger Zone was released in 1996 and it was a reactive ball. The release of the Vintage Danger Zone in 2016, the modernized version of the original celebrated the ball's 20th anniversary.
