Dual Angle drill for high top weight?
« on: January 21, 2018, 03:39:22 AM »
Just curious if anyone or there has found a good dual angle layout for a ball with a high top weight,  I just bought a 900 Global All Night NIB with 4.08oz top weight,  if anyone has any ideas please reply or pm me.

Thanks

Really need to know the pin to CG length more than anything else.  Lots of dual angle drill options especially for that symmetric core. TW of 4 ounces isn't bad; essentially you'll be removing about 3 ounces with drilling.

How are you planning on drilling it?

ptownbowler is my new account, finally remembered my old account password.

anyways, pin distance is 5-5 1/2 inches. not quite sure how I'm gonna drill it yet, but definitely want to fit it under my track 607a se. will talk to ball driller probably tuesday. want more for length than anything. not too skid flippy, been a while since i been in the pro shop, so my dual angle knowledge is rusty

Keep the cg near your center grip line and adjust the pin to your desired pin to pap.  If you want a flare increasing weight hole move the cg down and right some (if right handed)  so you have some positive side weight and thumb weight for such options.

Then if you need to know what that means for dual angle numbers go add all of the lines and see what you get.
