Finger lateral and corresponding thumb change
« on: May 23, 2016, 10:18:30 AM »
Hi. Questions (left handed)...

1. If I make a middle finger lateral change from 1/8 rt to 1/8 left, will that necessitate a change in the thumb pitches? From mechanical motion, it feels like it does, but .....?

Thanks in advance

anytime you change the pitch in one you need to take a look at the other.  You are changing how the ball sits in your hand.

Let me add one more question... If the middle finger moves left, it feels to me like the thumb would move right.... (left hand)...
Yes?

It all depends why you are changing the pitches.  If your fit is off, then you might be just changing the fingers and leaving the thumb how it is.
