Grease Pencils
« on: March 26, 2012, 03:37:56 PM »
Where's a good place to get a grease pencil for laying out balls?  I want to play around and do some trial layouts, but I need a pencil.  Suggestions?  Thanks.

Also,Pro Shops in your area probably buy them by the dozen.Perhaps one of

them would be willing to sell you one.Couldn't hurt to ask.

You're going to need a ProSect to go along with the grease pencil.  --  JohnP

I've already got a prosect, and have temporarily used some painters tape and a pen to do some layouts until I can get a grease pencil.  Thanks everyone for the website info.  I'll check with the pro shop today when I pick up my new (to me) Nano Pearl and see what they can do for me in regards to a grease pencil..

Got a dozen off Amazon for 5 bucks, Dixon brand with a peel off string to loose more grease. They went back up to 10 bucks, but they're worth it.
A secondary box, of which I've tried and liked, is the Berol Mirado. http://www.amazon.com/Berol-Mirado-China-Markers-White/dp/B005D8SBPK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1334050689&sr=8-2 Don't have a link for the dixon atm. But the Berol sells for 5 a dozen.
