same layout for asym and sym?
« on: September 13, 2017, 06:25:33 AM »
Lets say for example both balls have the same cover like the hyroad pearl/code black. Will putting the same layout on both balls be suggested? Sorry, but I do not have the dual angle numbers to give.
I love my hyroad pearl, and have an undrilled code black.

Good question.  My guess is you are going to get a wide variety of answers.

The first angle on a symmetrical ball doesn't matter, only thing that matters is if there's an extra hole or not.

Given that you are looking at 2 balls with the same cover stock, but having different cores, drilling them the same would yield different shapes based on the difference in construction between the two cores. They would act differently.
You could do worse.  Surface adjustments would fine tune them to be complimentary.
