i got this in the mail from bowlingball.com and the specs are:
16.1 Lbs.
4-5.5" Pin
4.4 Top Weight

after opening the package to see the specs, i cringed.
especially after i requested 2-3" Pin 2.2-3.7 Top.

assuming i used 2 finger grips and a big thumbs slug, and x-hole, will static weight be a problem do you think?

Mo's asymmetric chart says, this is a sharp breakpoint ball.

should the x-hole be closer to VAL?

anyway, i laid it out, here is what it looks like...
Pin to PAP is 5½" and MB to PAP is 5¼"

if this is drilled with a big thumb slug 3" deep and a 1&1/8" x-hole 2.5" deep...

would this pass static weight?
weight removal in the thumb quadrant would be close to 4.7 ounces.

Before you punch the holes, confirm the cg location and the amount of top weight.  Then, before you punch the X-hole, check the static weights.  Then you can figure out where, what size, and how deep to punch it.  With a thumb hole as large and deep as you're suggesting, you may not even need an X-hole.  --  JohnP

you're saying with those holes... there isnt enough weight taken out?
