The original Diva is my favorite ball ever (I've had 5 of them with 2 still in my tournament only bag) and any ball with that core is a welcome addition to my bag, especially when it is paired with a variation of the cover from my ever loved Vandal!  Reading what other staffers had to say about it being so quick off the friction, I went with a layout of 55x4.5x40 (pin over ring) as the ball had a 3-4" pin so I couldn't go pin down.

Thus far I have used the Diva XOXO on 4 different patterns:  a 39' Middle Road, 37' Kegel Broadway, 42' Stone Street and 44' High Street.  On all of the patterns my best look with the Diva XOXO was playing a light swing during games 3-4.  What really impressed stood out about using this ball was just how versatile it is.  Swung to the ditch on 37' it looked good, as it did playing tight on the longer, heavier walls with tighter angles and more forward roll.  My best look so far with this ball was on the toughest of the 4 patterns, Middle Road, where I was able to get into 3 arrow and feather the ball right with both the length to hold the line in along with recovery if I got the ball to the track early.

As far as overall shape, the XOXO gives me a couple feet more length than my tall pin Diva with a strong roll in the midlane along with a slightly stronger angle on the backend.  It is a little stronger and definitely less sensitive to oil than the Diva Pearl, but a little longer/weaker than the Vandal.  By reading reviews and the marketing on this ball, I totally expected a hockey stick type reaction, but although this ball can cover some territory down lane, it is not nearly as responsive off the dry as my Deviant or Melee Jab.

So far I have been very happy with the Diva XOXO and see it being a go to ball for me during the mid to late portions of blocks on a wide variety of lane conditions.

LANE CONDITION

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):  THS and Modified House shot

COMMENTS

Likes:  Mine is drilled with the pin below the ring finger and cg kicked out about 1/2 inch, no weight hole.  I put this layout on the ball after reading that it is very skid/snap.  With this layout on this ball it clears the heads great and has a very good move in the midlanes with a little snap on the backend.  I have been able to even use this ball at a wood house that I bowled a tournament at.

On the Modified house shot, which they put a lot more oil down in the heads and midlane, I was able to use this ball.  It worked great playing a straighter angle on the lanes without it jumping too hard in the backend.

For me this ball gives me the same type reaction as my Brainiac, but a little less over all hook.  Great step down from the Brainiac for me.

COMMENTS

The DV8 XOXO is a sexy lady and a lady everyone needs on their bag.  She is pretty with good colors and is a excellent light to medium oil lane condition ball.  The Diva XOXO is cleaner than the original diva and more angular than the original diva.  Mine is laid out for burn fronts and to continue to roll through the lane.  Diva XOXO is a great ball for light oil conditions.

My name is Doug Cutler and I am DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I throw the ball around 15-16mph. For my first Diva XOXO I kept the surface the same as out as the box. The pin I put under my fingers and the CG is kicked a little to the left. The pin was 2-3". This is my favorite drilling and I have drilled my Diva Divine, the original Diva, and also the Diva Pearl.  My favorite of all of the Diva's is the original Diva.  I have drilled 3 of them and have won a lot money with it.  I have used the Diva XOXO on 3 different patterns and I say that this ball is really smooth and has some really great back end reaction.  The patterns I have used this ball on is the Kegel Boardwalk, PBA Cheetah, and a THS.  This ball I would recommend on Medium to Light Oil patterns. On the Diva line the Diva XOXO fits between the Diva Divine and the Diva Pearl.  The Diva XOXO is a great 1-2 with my DV8 Vandal.  I start with my Vandal and when the Vandal starts to read to early I go to the XOXO and I can stay in the same spot but just change balls.  I have used the XOXO on the Kegel Boardwalk the last 2 weeks I have averaged 745 for Series.  I really like this ball and it is not just for girls, this balls color men will like and oh ya it hits really hard and it also has the Composite Cover stock.  So get to your Local Pro Shop and purchase a Diva XOXO today!!  You will not be disappointed.  #dv8bowling, #dv8divaxoxo

I compare this to my all time Favorite ball the Too Reckless,
I  drilled it the same,(pin and cg stacked in the palm 1-2 inch pin for control) the difference I see is the Diva XOXO rolls hard in the backend playing the same line. Since its release I have bowled two 300's with this on THS. I have also thrown in on 44ft Pattern with great success, Just order another one going drill it Pin about the ring finger(I'm right Handed)

I am a right-handed bowler and I have this ball drilled with the pin drilled out of the middle finger. This takes a lengthy pearl ball, and it makes it go even further. It has absolutely no trouble getting through the front of the lane. What makes this ball so great is that the new composite covers from the Brunswick/DV8 equipment will grip, recover, and drive through the pins on almost anything. As long as the lane has had time to dry out a bit, or there is a short oil pattern, there is no issue with pin carry. I would recommend anybody have one of these in their bag. It is incredibly reliable, and is exactly as advertised.

After having some success with the Diva Divine I decided to put some holes in the XOXO.

This ball uses the same core but uses the new chemical technology. i drilled this using a 45x4.5x40 layout. This gives me great length and a controllable shape down lane. Very clean without it going sideways off the spot. Goes thru the pins great.

This ball is a great addition to the Diva Line and to the DV8 lineup

 COMMENTS

This ball is  a middle of the road on the hook rating but with the composte flip cover this ball has a very strong backend motion and is very predictable. I really like this ball and it has quickly become a favorite house shot ball.

DV8 Diva XOXO (http://dv8bowling.com/balls/diva-xoxo/)
70 x 5 x 35 (OOB Surface)

Personal Stats:
400-450 RPM
18-20 MPH
PAP - 5 5/8" over, 1" up
Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees
Current League Average: 238

Intended Use:
Using my go-to pin-up layout, I was looking to fill a hole in my bag - I currently don't have any symmetric pearls. Looking for something that would be good late in blocks where I need to get through chopped up heads, and have a sharper motion in the back.

Reaction:
Again, this layout has been perfect for me. This ball is very clean up front and skids effortlessly through friction in the front part of the lane. Then it unleashes it's energy in the back. Not overly angular, but strong and continuous once it gets to the back of the lane.

Overall:
I threw one game of practice OOB with this ball and absolutely hated it. It seemed bery over/under on a fresh house pattern. Pulled it out in league that night at the end of game 1 and threw a 15 bagger for 300. I don't think I've put it down since. I've used it on short, long, tight, hooking, everything.

I am a huge fan of the entire Diva line and if you used them you would be too. Love the color of the XOXO and it fits perfectly below my Vandal's in my bag. Ball is a house shot killer!
