DV8 Freakshow
« on: August 11, 2016, 01:48:20 PM »
If your looking for a medium oil ball that will push through the fronts and peel off the spot this is the ball for you. I cant get over how much this ball wheels back from the spot for the price range and also doesn't over react if you miss in the oil. This is yet again another symmetrical medium DV8 ball that I won't be able to get out of my hands for a while!
This post is the opinion of the writer and not of the Brunswick corporation

It's a shame this new ball does not have a free bag like the DV8 plastic
Will expand arsenal after I polish my spares.

You're getting a ball that should probably cost $125 for  $99. Go buy your own bag. Lol.

Buying this and the Grudge Hybrid for this season.
Though I'll be using my Swerve (C300) and Scandal for a few of the alleys we play at. Will be using the DV8 balls for the alley that doesn't have shit machines that chew up my balls :P
Hopefully I'll be able to play as good with the new balls as I did with the EBI balls on the first match.

The Grudge looks like it'll move the same way as the EBI balls do in my hands, so then I should be able to get great results with it.
Most used:
Motiv Venom Shock (14)
DV8 Grudge Hybrid (14)
Hammer Scandal (14)
DV8 Freakshow (14)

Sometimes.
C300 Swerve (14)
Motiv Jackal LE (14)

Retired:
Roto Grip Sinister (13)
Motiv Jackal (14)

Given to a no-thumber in the club:
Brunswick T-zone (13)

Might stick with Motiv from now on.

Bought it today along with the Grudge Hybrid :D
Haven't tried them yet, refuse to use them at the alley the pro shop guy drilled them at since the machines might chew the balls up like they often do :P
Going to use them on home turf mostly.

Had a match yeasterday. At an alley where it's usually dry as a desert, but sometimes there's some oil on the lane.
Yeasterday it was pretty dry.
I started with my Scandal, because it's worn and the machines at that alley often snack on balls :P
It was to agressive for the lanes. So I tried the Grudge, no good either, and got a black mark on it(just some shit, got it away with some cleaning).
So I went to the Freakshow after the first game. And I started to do better.
People who say you only need your brain in bowling are so damn wrong. If you got a ball that's too agressive for very dry lanes, then your brain won't be any good no matter how much you try.
You need at least one ball for medium to heavy, and one for medium to light (or just light).
