Excitement over the new releases
« on: June 23, 2015, 01:49:33 PM »
Last year when DV8 Released the Thug, I had a little talk in the shop. But after we had a Demo Day . . . You couldn't walk in on a league night and not see at least 8 of them. When the Unruly was announced, I had several pre orders and had customers raving about it. The Corrupt has lead to double the pre orders of the Unruly. On top of that. The buzz about the new Vandal is just as impressive. Pre orders are flooding in. I'm, personally,  really excited for the new releases. The new Hooligan Taunt is something I've been looking for in the DV8 Line too. Should give me the ball reaction and length I need when the lanes are a little drier. Last year, DV8 exploded on to the scene in our area. I really think, with these releases, that it's only going to grow a bigger fan base.

I'm really interested to see more of the Vandal. What I've seen so far looks really good

Interesting. Around here interest in DV8 has waned. A lot of excitement when they first came out, but less so with each batch of releases. Motiv seems to be the hot brand now.

We were heavily populated by Storm and Roto but DV8, Radical and Brunswick have been more popular over the last year and a half.

I drilled a decent amount of DV8 balls over the last few years. Not as much as this year though. I only have oNE customer that uses Motiv. Every area is different I guess. My customers really seem to like the offerings from DV8. I really like the reactions I've gotten out of the line. The Divas are my favorite symmetrical and the Thugs have been my go to asyms.

Motiv is on top with storm in the Midwest.  Kinda sad that motiv can take over the Michigan area so quickly.  I see only the thugs around here...nothing else.  Ibsee motiv and storms entire lines top to bottom used by the masses. That includes roto too!

If country boy stays hot on the tour, motiv will only grow even more...

The Vandal is shaping up to be the best ball of the year for DV8.

The Vandal is going to be the biggest DV8 release to date, IMO. The Thug and Thug Unruly were absolutely on fire in my area thus past season. I expect the Corrupt to continue the trend. But this new Vandal is going to bring a lot of non-dv8ers to the dark side. I won't lie, the new Hooligan is so much more use able than the original too. July  7th is shaping up to be a great day for the pro shop.

If it were me, I would order a Vandal. From initial feedback, it's a "bowler's ball".

The Vandal is a Great Ball, it by far gets through the front part of the lane really easy and a smooth than previous DV8 equipment, the  Motion through the pins is different, CAUTION tho, you will be leaving a lot of 8's or 9's this ball drives that hard..it will be the first thing in my bag.
