Pin 6 inches from PAP, 45 degrees from VAL (above my fingers), no extra hole.

Likes: Gets down the lane better than expected. It got down the lane better for me than my orange/blue Misfit (but made it up with stronger backend). The Too Reckless provides a less aggressive, angular complement to the Hell Raiser, while the Reckless and Misfits fill out the lineup with smoother transition at the breakpoint. When the TR carried (further inside), my Misfit didn't, when the Misfit carried (closer to the track), my TR didn't. Great to have two balls that allow me to play a similar part of the lane and be able to switch when I am not carrying with one ball. I see this as a ball that higher rev players will enjoy.

Dislikes: not as versatile as original Reckless and Misfits. I found that it reacted better and carried better as I increased rev rate. To be fair, I am more drawn to balls that feature more midlane and less angularity.

COMMENTS
Carry - For an angular ball, it keeps the pins low and uses the falling pins to sweep the deck clean. And the words flat ten don't exist with this ball. I'm knocking ten pins with bird dogs, snappers from the gutter and side walls, and when I ring a ten can some times knock it down forward. Not sure how. Haha
Likes - If you have a defined friction spot down lane, this ball will maximize your room and allow you to strike from any part of that friction spot.
Dislikes - Needed more shine out of the box in my opinion.
Other - This ball conserves energy very well. And when it gets turning, it clears the deck. All I do with this ball is split the 8 & 9 pin.

This ball fits perfectly behind my Nexus Pearl, when my Nexus Pearl starts creeping high and leaving 4 pins, this ball will create a cleaner roll through the heads and come off of the friction that was causing the Nexus Pearl to leave 4 pins perfectly to strike at least 95% in my experience with this ball. It reminds me very much of the old BVP Punisher. If dulled down, it is a hook monster hiding under a 180 price tag. Shined up, to quote Robert Lawrence the ball is the most angular ball Brunswick makes (so far).

COMMENTS

The Too Reckless is a great compliment to the original Reckless. The Too Reckless glides through the heads easily while still reading the mid lane strong. When it gets to the breakpoint it makes a very strong angular move. When the reaction shape of the Reckless is preferred but the original Reckless is burning up and not getting through the heads, the Too Reckless fills the gap. This ball allows you to open up the lanes when the heads are burning up and you need a ball to get to the break point. One negative about this ball that I have experienced is at the OOB finish, if the volume up front is too high, this ball has a tendency to squirt through the break point.

Likes: Clean through the heads, and the colors.

Dislikes: OOB finish is slightly squirty.

Length: This balls length out of the box is sick. Even drilled to roll earlier and be harder off the friction. So I sanded this ball to get it started up earlier on the lane (went to long and was coming around the head pin to late leaving me a lot of tens).

Back End: This Too Reckless is smooth and continuous.

Overall Hook: Does not cover a lot of boards. Skid roll reaction

Midlane Read: The ball starts reving up in the mids but never makes its move until the end of the pattern.

Breakpoint Shape: Smooth and continuous

COMMENTS

Likes: Allows me to get on top of the oil line on house shots and gives a smooth predictable move. Great length for as early as the ball wants to rev up.

Dislikes: This ball is much weaker then I first thought it would be. I think if I get anther one I will have to drill it weaker to store more energy

Likes:Ball really shines for me when the track area starts to burn up and I can jump left and bounce to the spot. It is really predictable with a smooth but strong continuous breakpoint and keeps pins low through entry angle for great carry potential

Dislikes: can be to strong on drier conditions but thats what the Misfit is for

My Too Reckless is laid out pin over bridge about 5" from my PAP.

This ball is without a doubt my favourite ball in the bag right now and I can honestly say that you are at a disadvantage if you do not own one, it is that good.

Typically when the lanes start drying up, we grab pearl balls to help create more length and backend from deeper angles. The one major disadvantage of pearls is that if they see a little too much oil they slip and miss the breakpoint leaving us 10 pins and 2-10s on shots that really don't feel too bad off our hand. The Too Reckless uses a polished cover that gives me the length of a pearl but doesn't give me that squirtiness down the lane. The result is an even rolling ball that minimizes my errors and gives me extra consistency from shot to shot. I can manipulate it well with my hand and can play all kinds of angles with the ball. When I throw this ball, all I can think when I see it roll is how it reminds me of a Danger Zone with more length or an Inferno.

The Too Reckless gives me the length of a pearl, but with a polish solid shell so that the ball still gets down the lane. The HUGE advantage of the solid shell is that the ball will not squirt down the lane in carrydown and gives me a strong yet consistent motion down the lane shot after shot. You need this ball

Likes: gets through the fronts very easy , while the ball continues through the pins. Used this on PBA chameleon pattern worked very well

With the layout I chose for this ball I though it would be way too weak for the fresh or broken down conditions, but it allows me to play deeper when the lanes break down. This ball really gets down the lane and makes a strong move when reaching friction. It works well when the lanes break down and I need to get inside to wheel it. The Too Reckless is cleaner through the front part of the lane compared to the Reckless, and has a stronger backend reaction. It works good because it has a solid coverstock with polish which allows it to read the lane better than a pearl and doesn't skid past the breakpoint when there is carrydown or heavier oil. This ball has an even roll and doesn't jump left when reaching friction. It would be good for higher friction surfaces or 2nd shift leagues.
