Vandal AAA+
« on: July 24, 2016, 01:35:29 PM »
Recently picked up a new Vandal because all I heard is how good this ball is.  I am partial to asymmetrical balls, and I also needed a pearl in my arsenal.  Drilled pin up over ring finger (45x3 3/4x30).  I am somewhat speed dominate, so I guess this is why OOB, the ball went way to long (disappointed), so I hit it with a 3000 pad.  Better but still a little long (still somewhat disappointed).  Hit it with a 2000 pad and Oh My God, I awoke a strike monster.  Only used it for two games at 2000 grit,  but shot a 232 and a 247.
I can't wait to get back to the lanes and throw this gem again.

The Vandal is a beast. I am a high rev, high speed bowler and I love watching this ball make a left turn and just destroy the pins.  I'm really looking forward to the Vandal Smash and seeing how a solid cover changes the shape of the reaction.

The Vandal is awesome! The New Smash is fantastic too. The stronger, solid cover handles oil better and still has the strong Vandal backend. I hope this line stays for a long time.

  • Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!

The ball is a beast. I like mine so much that I am thinking of buying 2 just to have when the one I am using get all beat up.

I love the vandal line as well! I drilled my first one the beginning of last season which must have a bunch of games on it by now. The cover is holding up nicely she still turns the corner and hits like a truck.

I also had the same problem with my Vandal that I got last November of 2015 . It was pin and is pin up , and it didn't move worth a damm. I tried to use it on different lane conditions and still nothing. I then went to my ball guy and he hit it up with a 1000 abalone pad and Woww. It not only turned the corner , it became a ball worth talking about . I now use it 2nd out of my bag I use a Ebonite Adrenaline shot first to push the oil down the lane then pull out the Vandal and all hell breaks loose , LOL
I also want to get the Vandal Smash to Cause then I would have a 1,2 punch ball from the same company . I was originally thinking of getting a Freakshow,  but I think the Vandal and the Vandal smash are a better deal.
