44 Mag question
on: July 26, 2009, 06:51:28 AM
Does this ball have the "soaker" coverstock? Originally I couldnt get the ball to react but now it is moving like I thought it would. Maybe I am just throwing it better? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I can't be 100% sure, but I don't think it has the "soaker" coverstock.  Neither of mine seemed to bleed much out when I clean them.
The Gathering 2014 is near.  July 25-27 in Winston Salem, NC @ Creekside lanes.

The 44 Magnum has the Tru-Grip reactive
coverstock.  Its a solid/pearl reactive mix (hybrid)
before the "hybrid" name became popular

No, only the high-end Dynothane balls had Soaker covers.  I think the word is that the Soaker additive is/was too expensive to allow it to be used in mid-line balls.  However, DT's midline balls had their own reputation for longevity apart from that of Soaker.

Thanks for the replies. I am really liking the 44 MAG right now. It is a great THS ball.
