Kudos to the guys at Dynothane for coming up with another winner!  This ball has the looks of a champion both in performance and style.  Black and pearl purple swirls will sell on looks alone and when you see its performance you will want to buy more than one!

Ball came in at 15lbs 4oz, 3 1/2 Top, 3" pin
Layed out basic label leverage to complement my black vendetta which is drilled for control.  3 1/2 pin/pap, 4 3/4 cg/pap drilled fingers deep to bring finger weight to 1/2oz, no weight hole.

Perfect complement to the Black.  THS, med-heavy, 39ft crown buffed to 42.  House lane machine broke down and they had no idea what the pattern looked like on our usual end so we moved to the opposite end of the house.  The lanes on the low end typically have less backend movement and this was the case last night.  Normally start out with the Black Vendetta but I couldn't get it to finish consistently so switched to the Magnum.  44 Mag is stronger through the midlane and backend.  Clears the heads very well and reads the mids about 8 feet sooner than my black which is drilled pin above ring finger (4.25 x 3.75)and cg kicked out.  44 Magnum hits hard.  This Vendetta seems to be as versatile as the Black Vendetta.  Needed to take some hand out of the ball to match up with the lanes better last night (197, 236, 248).  More than once I've wondered if the Guys will make a 357 Magnum so I have a ball to go to that doesn't overpower the lanes and leave the occasional 8 or 9 pin.

Dynothane brings another fantastic product to market.  Dollar for Dollar there is no better line available than the Vendetta line and it just got another major upgrade.  Good job Guys!

This is one goooood looking ball. My 44 Magnum is drilled 4" from the CG. This ball was thrown in box condition in the same house both 1st shift and second. First shift THS ball ball went extremely long with a very nice arcing backend, not a big snap or jump to the pocket but very smooth arc hitting the pins very hard, left a few stone 9 pins, ball wouldn't recover if swung out to far but when I played straight up 7 board ball exploded to the pins, great power and carry. Ok, second shift... ball was way too strong to play up 7 so moved left and played outside 5 and ball screamed back and destroyed the pins,  excellent ball for guys who like to crank or use a lot of speed, ball hits very hard and sprays pins all over the place. Ball is very strong and looks awesome too. Great ball Dynothane.

Dyno-Thane Vendetta 44 Magnum

First, my thanks to Billy and the boys at Dyno-Thane for sending out the new Vendetta 44 Magnum—wow, what a sharp looking ball.  Given both my high ball speed and rev rate, I wanted to drill the 44 Magnum to maximize its mid-lane and backend reactions so I went with a layout 4” from my PAP and the mass bias located on my VAL.  I left ½ ounces of positive side weight from the counter-hole positioned 1” past my PAP.

The 44 Magnum did not disappoint. Its length is slightly longer than the original Element but with the same easy to read backend reaction—and of course, with the same hitting power we've come to expect with Dyno-Thane balls.

My evaluation broken down on a 10-point scale is as follows:

Length………………6.5
Backend……………7
Carry………………..9
Overall………………9

The purple 44 Magnum has movie star looks with the power to match.  I wish it could have come in a little earlier so I could have cashed in on the end of league payout binges.  Bottom line, the 44 Magnum offers Max Performance at a High Performance cost.  Why does my shop push Dyno-Thane so hard?  Because Dyno-Thane continues to consistently produce quality equipment that lasts.

I went straight to the drill sheet on this one with Layout #2.
There is nothing better than a pearl ball, that is aggressive.   I don't have to worry about this ball not hooking.   I threw on a tight patter,  a bit tougher than a house shot,  but still playable.   Played around 1st and 2nd arrow before changing.    This ball sets up nicely before entering the pocket.   This is definitely a  must buy for all Dynothane Fans.

Thanks Billy for sending this one out and allowing me to be a part of the family!

This after many weeks of testing and playing with four different setups and surface configuration, in my opinion, will be what actually replaces the vendetta black. The black is still one of my all time favorites but the MAG is quickly taking over as the most versatile of the bunch.

Great lane control
Smooth roll
Strong transition to arc or snap depending on style and setup!

Drilled pin under ring and CG kicked out. I need to keep some polish on this one to delay break point a bit.

Ball makes a strong move at the break point and then continues to hook. It, however, does not over hook. The back end is controllable and hits strong.

Great ball.
