It's Time to Settle the Score!

The New Vendetta from the New Dynothane Company arrived
today with great expectation! As with many new releases,
We were excited to finally get this one on the lanes to
see if the new Owners, the Phil Cardinale group, could
Take this Label to the next level!

My first impression out of the box was, What a Beautiful Ball!
The Cherry/Black Reactive cover makes this one a looker!
It comes out of the box "Polished" but is fully adjustable!

The Cover is rated at 17+ Hook, and designed for Medium to Dry
Lane conditions! The New weight block design is what they call
a "Core-in-a-Core" and is completely new to the market!

We drilled our test ball (Label Leverage) 4X4 Pin, with no balance hole.

We went to our test lanes, oiled earlier in the day for the Senior Leagues,
we knew this would be a great test on lanes that had a broken down track area.

The "Vendetta was long and controlled, until it reached the back part of the
lane in which it made a "Tremendous Left Turn!"
Pins were flying everywhere!!! the Hitting Power was immediately felt by bowlers
on the next lanes! We continued to roll six straight games and found this
ball holding the lane very well even as the track area dried out more!

We could make our moves left and still get this one "Down the Lane" without
great effort and still retain tremendous hitting power! Lot's of Strikes!
Very few corner pins!!!! this ball will work great when the lane conditions get really Over/Under or Wet/Dry.

This Vendetta's Cover Stock gets down the lane and retains alot of energy!
Thoses of you who like to use "Stronger Drilling Patterns" go ahead!
This ball will let you stay in play all day long!!!

I Highly recommend that you RUN to your Local Proshop and Get this Ball!!!
You will find that it will adapt to just about any style of bowler!

Dynothane is the New Power in Bowling!

We will Highly Recommend this ball to Our Customers and to All Bowlers!

Wow another great masterpiece by the great Phil Cardinale.  I was waiting so long to receive my Vendetta to see what Phil would do as he took over Dynothane.  I drilled my Vendetta with a 75% drilling and a 4 inch pin, with a weight hole ( right-handed ).  This particlular drilling got the ball up the lane before making its move into the pocket.  The hitting power was great and the ball keep the pin bases low for excellent carry.

Just got this ball drilled up today.
Went right to the lanes to try it out.
This ball rolls HARD. A nonstop hard roll.
Very strong backend reaction and  WHAM.
This ball absolutely destroys the pins. Messengers flying
everywhere. Great first ball from the new Dynothane.

I drilled the Vendetta pin up 3" and kept the CG in line and dropped the mass bias down to the thumb.  I took it out on the house pattern which was oiled to 35' and buffed to 40'.  I was playing 25-10 and the first two games out of the box was a 244 and a 259.  Then came the push of oil into the back ends.  The ball stopped carrying.  I tried moving around the lane with it, but when I tightened up I went beak and when I tried to loop it it wouldn't come up.  This drilling is either not that good for this ball or the ball doesn't like the carry down.  I would recommend the ball for Sport Patterns, due to the stripped back ends or a first set in league.  I can not recommend it for a second set, I think you would rip your hair out.  I will drill up another one diffrently and update my review.

I drilled up another Vendetta pin up 5" and between the middle and ring fingers and kicked the CG out with the Mass Bias down at the thumb for that little extra in the back.  The first place I used the ball was a PBA regional on a sport condition.  The ball was a disaster.  It still reacted much later than I anticipated.  If I tried to play straight up the boards I received an over reaction.  If I tried to swing it I received over/under.  After 5 games minus 300.  Switched to another ball, which shall remain nameless, and was plus 36 for three games.  Too late to cash.  Next was the house condition.  What a difference.  On the house condition this ball was unstoppable.  45' and bang.  The ball turned the corner and hit harder than anything in my arsenal.  On the first drilling carry down was a problem.  With this drilling the carry down seemed non-exsistent.  I played 20-5 the first shift for a 685 on a very tough pair.  Next highest series to me was a 582.  And I was bowling on a pair where the low average was 208.  2nd set switched lanes and everybody was playing straight up except for me.  I was playing 15-5.  I shot 652.  Lower than normal but any mistakes was my fault.  The ball hit good.  Buy this ball for thehouse shot not the sport condition.

This ball is awesome. I got it drilled off label with a 1-1.5 pin placement. This ball gets through the fronts excellent and the carry is unbelieveable. I used it in league this morning for the first time and shot 633 with alot of missed spares. I expect to have many excellent games with this ball in the future. 10 of 10

i ordered my vendette, because it was referred to me by someone on the dyno-thane staff and said that it would work good for my game, and was he right. Within the first week that i drilled it up, i took it to a tournament and with a dull surface it rolled unbelievable, it was the first dull ball that i had roll down the lane and yank back and still have enough energy to carry the corners. The first night i went to throw it in league play i thought i would put a coat of polish on it, and was suppressed how it looked with a coat of polish, it looked like a million bucks, and boy it rolled that way, the first night out the gate with it polished it shoot 300-248-267 for a 815 series, just as everyone that comes into the pro shop i work at i recommend this ball to you!
"What does it mean when i throw 36 of them X things in a row???"

First off, great piece of equipment.
16lbs, 3"pin, 3oz top wt.
Drilled with pin above bridge and cg just above center of palm.
Other equipment, Black Rock-drilled arc, Trauma-drilled length skid/flip, and a trusty purple Quake drilled arc.
I am lefty, 19+mph, hig revs, power stroker, high track.  Usually start around 30-40 and throw over 12-20, breaking over 3-10.  Since I am lefty, I cannot use any part of the lane past the 4th arrow, since it is usually flooded (lefty).

I was looking for something to fill the gap between the Particle and pearl reactive.  Something not too over/under, and can get through the heads cleanly.  I like a flip but I prefer the overall look to be skid-hook-flip.  Rock i just hook, Trauma is more skid-tiny hook-flip.
Vendetta is exactly what I was looking for.  It is easy to read the break point.  Some other people mentioned that you have to be accurate with this ball.  I felt like I had a really good 5-7 board cushion.  Pin action is so good, you don't worry about light hits.  Hardly any 7 pins.  If you watch this ball roll, it gets through the heads easily, reads the break and turns hard into the pocket.  It looks like it is by the 10 pin when it rolls off the deck.  It goes through the pocket hard.  I polished it slightly.  I don't bother throwing dull stuff because I can't get them through the heads.  You can imagine that particle balls drive me crazy.  I don't know what to say about this ball.  It is amazing so far.  I have about 15 games on it.  I have already thrown my first 300 and high 797 series with it.
It is great for getting through the heads and can read clean to moderate carrydown backends.  Scatters pins low on the deck.  Again, great carry.  It doesn't sound as explosive when it hits the pocket as my Rock or Trauma, but the pins fell anyway.  The other equipment has not gotten me a 300, so it must be only the sound.  This ball certainly has fury!

Thanks to Phil for the help

This ball is GREAT!!! I bowl YABA and I am in a league right now and I average 228 because this ball doesn't leave ten pins... Its a pin in ball to keep the flair down, CG just right of grip center with the pin at 1:30. the ball goes forever it seems but the computer says it goes 49 feet... I've shot over 20 700s with this ball in just under 5 months, and a 300 to boot. i would tell anyone to use this ball as long as they have a fair amount of hand... One of the best balls I've thrown in a long time.

Although I have not heard much about this ball reviews seem great. I have the Vendetta Carbide which was made for overseas use from what I'm told. Just wondering if this ball is similar to the regular Vendetta? If so I would have to agree with all review left. Great rolling with great carry and a very versatile ball for many different conditions.

Has anybody heard of this ball besides me?
Comments Please?

Dyno-Thane was nice enough to send our staffer - Willie Willis a Dyno-Thane Vendetta, and the Vendetta Particle.

Willie found the ball to work best in light/medium oil lanes. He found the reaction to be very predictable with a heavy roll.

The Vendetta has trouble on heavy oil, because it was getting to much length and recover to late to enter the pocket at an optimal angle.

Great for wet /dry med conditions

I watched him throw this ball on a bunch of different shots, and the ball was clean through the front on all the shots. The ball had great recovery from the deeper inside lines, and still had good pop at the pocket.

All I can say is WOW. The hitting power of the Vendetta is so explosive; Dyno-Thane equals “Dyno mite”. Its drilled Pin above ring, CG stacked under ring. It is so versatile, used it on anything from a med-heavy to dry, and it still cracks the pins. I have not used a ball that carries the Ten Pin better then the Vendetta! For being a Tweener with some hand, I can't believe the backend I get from this ball; it makes me look like a cranker. So far my arsenal is a Vendetta, Vendetta Particle and Cure. Can't wait to get the Element and Thing next!
--------------------
When in doubt, Throw it out. Buy a whole new arsenal!

Drilled 6 by 4 1/2. This ball is great on mediums w/ backends and medium lighter. Carrydown will make the ball hesitate in the backends. I tried it on a 30 ft. lighter sport shot. Way too much ball, it began moving in the midlane and lost power. When you can bounce it from wet dry this ball make a strong, late, and angular move to the pocket. Carry is pretty good. The only complaint is that i seem to stuff 9's a ton. It will hit weak if it doesn't have some friction to get it revving. Did exactly what i thought it would, great for wet dry or a medium house shot.
